Ruk Mae

Not very customer service friendly even though the food is good as a business owner I am big on customer service. When I went in the second time the owner continued to argue with me about how she did not put eggs in my food when she did. She also said customer isn’t always right, uh ok, I am not looking to be always right. What exactly are you talking about. It was like a salesman trying to convince you that the sky is green and the grass is blue when you are clearly looking at a blue sky and green grass. The biggest disappointments are business folks playing mind games with kind customers trying to support their business as well as interrupting them when they speak. Shaking my head. It’s ok if you forgot we are human. Then she proceeded to project her issues into me and tell me I am an unhappy person. Which is crazy because she always has a resting …..face. I always greet her with a pleasant hello. I always treat folks dealing with my food respectfully because hey you are eating the food and you don’t know what energy they are putting into your food which overall can affect your energy. None the less there is no judgement because sometimes we do not know what one is going through in life.

I highly recommend Ruk Mae!! My fiancé and I live nearby and have tried Ruk Mae a few times. It’s been absolutely delicious every time and the service is always amazing! If you like pad Thai, theirs is one of the best I’ve had in the area - I also have a gluten allergy and they are always really accommodating and helpful when I order. Thank you so much - we’ll be back!!

The photos are crispy orange chicken and chicken & vegetable stir fry. The crispy orange was unique and really good! The other dish was kind on typical, but well cooked and I liked the tender flavor. The place is not anything like a modern type of restaurant; I do not care much. Try them after IKEA shopping!

Great prices, excellent quality, soo glad they make it easy to see what is gluten free & what is vegan/vegetarian! Really accommodating to dietary restrictions which seems to be rare in New England. Such an awesome Thai place - one of the best I've ever been to! Also glad they admit the fresh rolls are 2 rolls, instead of calling them "pieces", chopping them up and deliberately misleading customers into thinking they're paying for more rolls than they are. They're a pain to make, and tricky to master, so $8 is expensive for 2, but not entirely out of the realm of sanity. Either way, I'm glad they don't try to pretend you're getting more than you are. This place is very honest & up front.

I absolutely love this place. When we moved to Stoughton I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a good local Thai place. Well, boy was I wrong. This knocks all other places I’ve tried out of the water. The food is fresh and delicious, well spiced, the portions are generous, and the staff is so warm and friendly. Seriously the nicest people you will ever meet. The decor is very nice, with thoughtful touches throughout (love seeing family photos!). We’re working our way through the entire menu and everything has been phenomenal. I rave about this place to everyone and am I’m so happy I found Ruk Mae. Give it a try- you won’t be disappointed!!
