Weeyums Philly Style

We were passing by and decided to stop in for lunch since I've heard good things about their Philly sandwich. There is not a lot of parking and parking is awkward. They do practice social distance and you are not allowed to enter the building. There was a lady out front taking orders and payments. The philly cheese steak was priced ok, but $2 extra to change to provolone cheese and $2.75 for a very small amount of fries. The philly was ok, not as flavorful as I expected and there was too much bread, but other than that the sandwich was ok. I may return, but not guaranteed.

This has been a family favorite for a while. I placed my order at 2:45 online. I received a notification my order would be ready in 25 minutes I did not receive my order until 3:30. That’s fine I just figured they were busy. After getting half way down the street I realized my chicken tenders were missing. I then had to turn around and go back to the restaurant, after explaining to the young lady that the tenders were missing she acted as if they were never ordered. I let her know if the tenders are not ready I would like a refund. I was then told she can’t process a refund but it will only take the gentleman 3 minutes to make the tenders. It has now been 10 minutes I’ve been waiting on these tenders. This is my last time visiting this establishment. Please don’t get me started on the lack of customer service. Advice to management: Hire happier people who love their job and enjoy doing what they do. Hire individuals who excel in communication and respect.

I haven’t eaten at Weeyums in about 4 years. I decided to stop by there today for a steak. My steak was everything! First, the bread was fresh. Second, my sandwich was full of meat. Third, I could actually see my sweet peppers. One of the competitors chops their peppers up so small that you can barely see or taste them. Lastly, my steak was about $4.00 cheaper than the competitor for the same ingredients on a steak. I will definitely be returning back soon.

I've been trying to make it here for years. Wasn't expecting to pay $15 bucks for a sandwich either. I stood in line for 30 minutes to order my food. Once ordered it was 1 hour and 15 minutes until I received it. They insisted they told me it would take more than an hour to get the order, however, they did not tell me that before ordering. Also, the order was wrong. I ordered a cheese steak and they gave me a cheese 'chicken'? Not sure how they screwed that up. Food was great though can't deny that. Hope next time they can improve service time and just get my order right.

The wait is horrible. Your food here is NEVER ready on time! 45 minutes means an hour and a half after placing AND PAYING for your order online. Tonight my food wasn't even started until 30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. The food is definitely not what it use to be. I sincerely miss the customer service and promptness if the Ellenwood location. If you got time to spare...then this is your place. If u want your food in a timely manner then go to the Weeyums in Atlanta!
