Calabar & Grill

This was one of the most amazing experiences and meals I have had in a long time. First, the staff is so welcoming. I felt like I was at a family reunion. And let me introduce you to my new cousin Lance (see photos) who made sure all my food modifications were honored as requested. The loaded spinach dip, Jerked chicken pasta, and the Mango Peach sangria are WONDERFUL. There was no line and the music and ambiance - just perfect. This place is a little slice of heaven on earth. Excellent!

Love the vibes! Decor is super cute and the music was on point! Took my 60 year old handicapped mother out for dinner and the hostess immediately saw the need to get my mother seated quickly and comfortably (wish I got her name to give her props!). Our server, Lance was extremely warm and he made our experience even more amazing with the smile on his face! The food and drinks were so good! Everything came out promptly, fresh and hot! I will definitely suggest this place to others and return myself! Its little things that can make businesses pop! Cala Bar came through!

Came here today for Dinner with my fiancé and it wasn’t the best experience. The AC was not on and it was over 90 degrees. Two big fans blasting but it was still hot and humid. Seemed to be only one server and one cook so everything moved slow. We ordered the mini beef patties as an appetizer and they were burnt to a crisp. For entrees, we had the fried red snapper and a jerk chicken sandwich. Both were decent but not good enough to make us want to return. Hoping it was just a slow day but definitely recommend going somewhere else. We spent $90 for food and drinks when I could’ve been spent that at another Jamaican spot and got way more AND better food.

Amazing!! We came with in a group of 5 people. Our server Krystionna was so sweet! Drinks and food were great. Every order was correct and served hot!! Everyone enjoyed their order. The music was great, loved the DJ's energy!! This place is a VIBE! When the sun starts to set, they light candles at your table. The floors and restrooms are clean. I'm so glad we came here! Kudos to the owner, chef and staff. We'd definitely come again!

This place has amazing food! You would never think this place has such amazing place due to the location but it was delicious. The drinks and the music selection are always show stoppers and chill vibes. This place is memorable. This was my second time at this place and it was better than the last time. They lost a star because of the service charge they applied to the bill. I will give you a great tip but don’t force me to tip.
