Smallcakes

I had a sweet tooth and Smallcakes is down the street from me. They don't offer a large selection of cupcakes in store - there was literally one of very few flavors, but I can't imagine they get very busy. I wanted to try a vegan cupcake but apparently these are specially made and you have to request at least two days in advance (super inconvenient!). The cupcakes we tried were really moist and yummy - just what I needed for my sweet tooth. I may try them again, maybe at an earlier time when more flavors are available.

I visited small cakes today after lunch just to get something sweet. I ate a carrot cupcake with butter cream frosting. This was so good. It was moist and just the right taste of sweetness that needed to get rid of my sweet tooth. The owners were so sweet. They took time to tell me all about the daily specials, and what they Cary on a daily basis. This place was nice and clean for it to have been 2:00 pm on a weekday. This is no joke the cup cakes are delicious I am definitely going to come back to this place.

The one star is for opening on time. The customer service was awful! I was craving for something sweet to eat on my one cheat day. I was excited to find out about this cupcake bakery online, the pictures got my attention and it's close by so I decided to go during my lunch break. They open at 12PM, I got there at 11:58AM and waited the two minutes with anticipation. The lady in the store turned the "open" light on, unlocked the door and kept walking without opening the door. I opened the door, told her good afternoon and she completely ignored me while she talked on a personal call. I told her that I wanted six cupcakes and as I was making my selection she completely ignored me and kept talking on her phone. Ironically, she kept telling the person on the phone that "you don't listen to me" but here I am, her customer and she exhibits the same behavior towards me. I took a deep breath and waited patiently (God is working with me on my patience, so I tried) but after a couple of minutes I finally told her to forget it because I was on my lunch break. I'll definitely try another location, but I refuse to patronize this particular location because based on my experience and the reviews, they don't respect their customers.

It was a nice location and it was not crowded the cupcakes are good if you are looking for real southern red velvet this may not be the place they use alot of chocolate in theirs.but still good. Beautiful packaging. Katrina behind the counter was cordial but a little standoffish could have a been a little warmer with the welcome.

This was a doordash order so i can only speak on the sweets. he cupcakes were DELICIOUS. So moist and soft and not dry and heavy like other places ive tried . I got peanut butter reese's and fudge cup cakes . The reese's ones had this really good peanut butter cream cheese icing creative and tasty. The fudge was just that delicious fudge not just regular chocolate icing. Also i like that they took and follow special request i put in on door dash. Not much variety to choose from but im not sure if it was that way because of the app selections are limited. But no ice creams to try but vanilla
