Fuji Express

Fuji Express is my go to place for Japanese food in the area. You get a lot of food for the price and the sushi options are excellent (deep fried, raw, and vegetarian). The service is also pretty good, and I never wait too long for my order. I've never dined-in so I can't speak for that experience, but my to-go orders are always correct and neatly packed with everything you need inside. I always get the beef rice bowl and, if I feel like it, I also get the Fuji Roll. Always delicious, never disappoints.

This is a small restaurant located in a strip shopping center. It isn't flashy and just happened to catch my attention when we drove past it the other night. I was intrigued so we pulled up the menu. It is Japanese food so there are mostly hibachi options. The meals were cheap for the food that you got. Steak and shrimp was less than $11. It is not cooked in front of you but I'm sure that makes the cost cheaper than a restaurant with a full hibachi show. I got the steak and shrimp with rice and vegetables. My girlfriend got the chicken and shrimp with double rice. We both felt like there was plenty of food. You refill your own drinks and condiments. They offer soy, teriyaki and Yum yum sauce. After you eat, you take your plate to the trash and clean off your table. Overall we were very happy to find a place that offers hibachi at a cheaper price. We felt like the portions were good and the food had good flavor. We will definitely be back when the craving for hibachi hits again.
