This restaurant is a hidden gem in Stirling. We found it by surprise and what a surprise! The patio strung with lights, beautiful pots filled with festive flowers (and even a grape vine!) makes you feel as if you're in a quiet garden in Italy. And then the food...bursting with flavor. The ambience is easy and friendly. We'll be back with friends!
Went for the first time on a recommendation. Food is outa-sight good. Spoke to the owner (Sam) and the chef - great people. Service was outstanding - everyone is so nice. We would like to go again. But the wine list needs to be more price approachable. The cheapest red is $30. IIMHO, it would serve them well to have some cheaper priced wines in the low/mid $20 range. Even better yet would be to offer house wines by the carafe and 1/2 carafe at lower than bottle prices. We will be looking for this in the future.
We enjoyed such a great meal outdoors on a beautiful night! It was our first time at Bar Cilento and we can’t wait to come back. The Pizza was a fantastic starter for the group and the entrees were delicious.
We decided to use Bar Cilento to host our rehearsal dinner. The outdoor patio was the perfect location for our party. Our guests ranged from young to old. The patio was the perfect setting to accommodate the party. Guests were free to comfortably mingle and take pictures without feeling crammed. Lighting and outdoor plants provided beautiful backdrops for photos. The food selection was versatile and tasted great. Pricing was very reasonable. Staff was flexible and accommodating, given the large group of 50+ we had in attendance. We are very happy we decided to host our rehearsal dinner here and would absolutely recommend them to others. Cilento is a local bar, with a dining room. The menu is very surprising for a "bar". Much better selection, and certainly higher quality than one would expect at a "bar". I think Cilento should be considered more a restaurant with a nice bar, and great atmosphere for watching sports. The staff is spectacular! They are very friendly and accommodating. The food will surprise you! Go for a great dinner, then stay around to socialize at the bar, if that is your thing.

We sat outside, and the appetizers looked so good, we decided to just have appetizers. The staff was super friendly and checked on us a few times to see if we needed anything. We ate Burrata, chicken wings, drunken class, and crispy pork belly.
Didn't really care for the live music there on a Sunday. Service took a while to get to us and didn't seem particularly interested in helping us. The patio area is tremendous and if you go inside, the bar area is a good time.
We just moved to Berkeley Hts and discovered Cilento. It is now our 'go to' place for fantastic outdoor dining - patio is so relaxing, food is authentic and delicious, and Sam the owner made us feel welcomed and part of the family. We do hope they bring back the pizzas soon!
My brother wanted to propose to his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day and he asked the owners if he could use a tent outside so we could decorate and have their puppy be included in the proposal. Not only did they say yes, but they were SO flexible, welcoming, generous, and the most helpful staff to make this moment AMAZING. From putting the tarp on the tent, to setting up a heater to keep us warm, to tending to every need, they were AWESOME! Special thanks to Irene for being so great! And of course she said “Yes!” :-)
They have the best server there. She doesn't write anything down and she remembers everything you order to eat and drink. There were seven of us and she did not miss a beat.
Excellent food and drinks, relaxed fun atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting on patio watching brick oven pizzas being made and listening to live music. Owners make you feel like family. Love it❤️
We chose Bar Cilento for our wedding ceremony and reception and it was the best decision! From the decor to the food, so many said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Sam, Geraldine and their daughter Irene did an incredible job and the staff was just amazing! The food is always wonderful at Bar Cilento and it was even better on my special night! The appetizers were served butler style then there was the amazing buffet for dinner which was loved by all! Thank you to Sam, Geraldine, Irene, the chefs, bartenders and servers for making sure our special day will always be remembered by us and our guests!
