Five Guys

So I really like the food, that's not the problem. I walked in to get just a cheese burger and it's $10.99. I'm sorry, but that is insane! I will not pay that much for a cheese burger. Say what you want, we use real meat whatever, that's just nuts. I know things are crazy with inflation, but this is to much. I'll be back when it's figured out.

We used to love this place. It's been a while since we'd gone so we decided to go again. The prices have gotten so high. For burgers and fries (we shared 2 orders) for a family of 6 it was close to $100. The food is good, but the prices seem too high for us. If we are going to spend that much we might as well go to a sit down restaurant.

The food tasted great, and proportioned for a lunch meal. What makes me give a three star is that was priced for what used to be a steak dinner, I understand inflation happens. What gets me is the praise for actual hamburger meat not something other so called restaurants offer as a food. Or food should be actual food not some processed additives that someone comes up with in a lab. Again the food tasted great.

The burgers here are absolutely amazing! It's one of the best burgers I've ever had. The fries are only mediocre, but they're plentiful. All of the food here is extremely fresh (fries are cut in the back, nothing is ever frozen). The only issues I have are the almost overwhelmingly loud environment and the high prices. The cheapest combo you can get is still over $14, and if you upgrade any of that at all (add bacon and cheese to your burger, make your fries regular or large, get a shake instead of a small drink), you could easily find yourself spending over $20 on a single meal. That said, this is still an amazing burger and it's awesome to have Five Guys here in Stillwater.

First time to try Five Guys. We had 5 adults in our group. We told person taking our order it was our first time, but she did not do a good job explaining how the burgers were ordered (ie single or double, or how fries are sized for 1, 2-3, or 4-5) So we ended up with way too many fries as well as an $85 bill for fast food. Not gonna lie, I was shocked at the price for essentially 5 fast food burger meals. Then angry after we received our order. Not only did we have the ridiculous amount of fries we could not eat, but each burger was supposedly labeled with numbers corresponding to the receipt. But every one was wrong, on top of that we all thought we had ordered single patties, but 3 if them had been put in as doubles, then there was missing cheese on the plain, added cheese to one which wasnt supposed to have it. So it took us quite a bit if time figuring out which one went to who. There was only one correct burger (according to the receipt, although even that wasnt put in correctly at the register) It was a flipping mess. Sad because we actually thought the food was tasty. We will never return tho. Adding one star because food was tasty even if it is way over priced and the staff is incompetent.
