E's Hideaway

Nice restaurant not an inviting atmosphere whats so ever. The hostess was the only smiling and friendly staff member. It was our first time, we waited about 10 minutes before the server came to ask about our drinks. No smile, apology for the wait nothing. We told her we were ready to order, they had over an hour before close. She comes back to say they only have 1 wedge salad left so my husband had to get a different salad. He got shrimp, they were small. I got a chicken pasta meal it was worst than a frozen Italian meal. I wouldn't ever go back or recommend this place.

1st Google review ever. Stood at the door for 5 minutes with open tables and employees everywhere before someone came over to seat us. We had dinner there and the cheese curds are awesome! We ordered chips and salsa and asked for a little more salsa because we had way more chips and they charged us for another chips and salsa appetizer. They should’ve told us we would get charged again. My son thought the flatbread pizza was terrible and couldn’t eat it so we sent it back. They took it away uneaten and charged us for it. We asked them why we were charged and the waitress said the owner, who hangs out at the bar, told her to. So we asked to take it home and we would crisp it up in our home oven; however, that wasn’t an option because it was taken away but they still charged us for it. Beware for ridiculous and unnecessary charges. Food (other than pizza) was great, service was good (other than at the door) and the management is terrible. With food this good but management this bad, this restaurant may not make it.

Lunch Saturday with my daughter and her family. Half the table got their food and it took 7 minutes for the rest to come out. By that time the first good delivered was well on its way to bring cold. My daughter had a wrap with chicken. It tasted bad and it looked dried up. My granddaughter had fish and had diarrhea that night. I was so disappointed! I've eaten here several times and the food was great. I just had to say something!

Visited here for lunch twice. The food was excellent both times. Service was very slow the first time, especially for adult beverages. Our server did not know what wines were available (FYI, they DO have Cabernet, as our server on day 2 knew). I opted for a tasty mojito instead. Cranberry chicken salad sandwich and BLT were both great, and I loved both the sweet potato fries and the homemade chips. My friends got the chicken Caesar salad wrap (which, interestingly, had croutons in it) and the strawberry salad (which was huge). Everyone was very friendly, but drinks should definitely come out before the food. Clean, great atmosphere, comfortable chairs. Reasonably priced!
