Wow The Kentmorr is a gem on Kent Island! Food is awesome, especially their fresh seafood! You have to try their pizzas because they are made fresh and baked in a brick oven. Staff is great and the location is worth the trip. You can catch great sunsets on the beach. Very family friendly!
Nice place, but confusing rules take away from the experience.
[The bad] This place has different rules for their different sections. Entrance host made me go back to the car to drop my towel so I would not get “kicked out by staff” for having a visible towel. The beach section had a $60 minimum charge that was only clear when we tried to find a sitting spot. Water access is restricted to the ankles height, and water front sits meant having to deal with the constant patrol of confused guests (one family was initially asked to leave bc they ate inside and had not paid for the food within the beach section). The menu was limited at the beach (no dessert, soup, or crabs allowed)
[good] The food was good, the drinks were made with fresh fruit juice, some of the staff were really friendly, and the families that cracked the code created a beautiful environment. We had a crab cake sandwich, fish and chips, and hush puppies.
Kentmorr is such a gem! The restaurant is located in a quaint little neighborhood, with stunning water views from tables and it’s own beach bar area. The food was outstanding, especially the crab cakes and seafood pizza. The Manager, Grace, was so warm and friendly. She went out of her way to take good care of our family. This restaurant is 10/10!
Food was good. Service was also okay, a little on the slow side outside but not bad at all. Would have loved to have umbrellas up given how hot it was. Overall, had a good time.
Great place to go to chill by the water and eat seafood.
The service could have been a little better, but I'm full and the drinks where good.
If you come and visit, you have got to get the crabby tots. The best I ever had, I'm going home and make me some.
My friends and I drove to Kent Island from DC for one of our annual bay-day trips. We finished off our day with libations, BBQ, and seafood at Kentmorr Restaurant. We’ve visited this restaurant two years in a row prior and had a good time, but I have to say that this time our experience was so much better! The new owner added a Tiki bar on the beach facing the bay, which definitely improved the atmosphere. Drew, our bartender at the Tiki bar, had our Orange Crushes flowing. Off his recommendation, we ordered some BBQ ribs and some Pulled-pork sandwiches, the meat on the ribs were fall off the bone delicious. Jennifer, the manager, came by to see if we had everything we needed. We decided to stay for dinner and headed inside for some seafood. Jessica, our server, was super friendly and ensured we had everything we needed.
We loved the new atmosphere and service, we’re definitely coming back!
Love being able to sit at the beach and still order from full menu. Got drinks immediately and food didn’t take long, great place to hang out.
The Kentmorr Restaurant is under new management. The food and service were great. My group and I went outside where the hostess explained the new procedures surrounding the beach access. We were able to get a cabana. Each spot has a QR code you scan that enables you to order drinks from the outside bar and food from the restaurant. The new atmosphere is wonderful and my family and I will be back for sure!💝🍹
Stopped in for a drink.
Service was very good. We'll be back when it's nicer and we can sit at the tiki bar.🍹
On the water this place has good food and great ownership. Nice atmosphere a beach and beach bar docking for your boat and lots of free parking on premises
