Beacon Rock Cafe

I have property not far from this cafe/store. I have seen it change over the years. This change is wonderful. The people are friendly and the Food is Fabulous. I now don't have to travel to Stevenson Washington to eat or shop. I had lunch it was awesome. They make their own chips and I really liked them. Not salty but simply delicious. My dad went up a few weeks ago and he really enjoyed the breakfast. This is a Must when going through Skamania County on Highway 14.

Please go somewhere else!!! Would rate zero stars if possible!!! Better service down the road a few miles!!! Horrible customer service and the worst part is it's from the owner! Came in, ordered two burgers and fries (price is not great and fries do not come with a burger...), then they hand you a ticket to pay upfront. Go out, grab 2 pepsi's and hand "the owner" our ticket and soda's. Rings it up and I go sit back down and wait on our food. Meanwhile the owner is in and out the cafe looking at us and talking with the cook. Get food, eat food (not the greatest and undercooked. Matches the customer experience), then say thanks to the cook to be polite... and walk out to our car. Flying out the door is the owner accusing me of not paying! Are you kidding me! I paid for the overpriced food! Even left the cook a $5 tip after paying. Walk in tell him what we had and show him the ticket for our meal that is right on top of his pile! After all this no sincere apologies just an "oh there it is". There was no other cafe customers in at all while we were there. Please save yourself the embarrassment and money! I will never go to this place again!!! Go to the cafe a couple miles east from this place at the golf course! Save yourself some money and actually enjoy the experience and food.
