Main Street Taps

Had the pleasure of DJing for a drag show here and I must say it exceeded my expectations. First of all this is an INCREDIBLE space, like it’s HUGE! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They were always checking in on me and the other performers and were very nice the whole night. Great drink prices and the crowd was nice. Definitely enjoyed doing an event in this space and would love to come back!

I was really excited about this place, after a day of driving I was looking forward to good food and drunk. Unfortunately I can't review the food because we sat for nearly 20 minutes without being served and then we were told before 9, the kitchen is closing. While we saw food being brought to people who sat down about 5 minutes before we did. Poor service. And the Kid Kolsh from New Garius they served wasn't the Kolsh it was spotted Cow.

Heard it had good food, then went and seated ourselves at the bar only to sit and never even be acknowledged for over 10 minutes. The bar was not overly crowded. We ended up leaving after not receiving service or even a menu. No judgement on the drinks or food, we just never even had the opportunity to try it despite sitting at the bar itself.

Main Street is one of my favorite restaurants in Steven's Point. Conveniently located downtown, this place doesn't look fancy on the outside, but has a great vibe on the inside. Even when it's packed, service is unfailingly quick and friendly. Definitely a great place to take a group of people for lunch or dinner. Their tap selection is appropriately huge, and the bartenders and knowledgeable about all of them . The food is excellent, I've never had a bad meal here. The curds are outstanding, the burgers are excellent, and their fish fry may be the best one I've ever had. Make this place a part of your next trip downtown!

This is our go-to place, for tasty food, really good beers (I like sours, and it's unlikely to find a good sour anywhere else in Point), and an atmosphere that is old classic bar(lots of wood) meets modern hip decor. And they have a good sized stage, that has a tight schedule of events normally. Also, their nachos are something special.

I've been there multiple times. From casual lunch, concerts, New Years Eve Parties, to late night drinks with friends. It's always a good time. I want to highlight that their cheese curds (a creamy inside with flaky ranch breaded outside) was voted 3rd best in Wisconsin. Stevens Point is very luck to have this gem downtown. Keep it up y'all
