Bob Evans

We came in and were seated pretty quickly. The server was prompt to our table with our drinks and took our order. The atmosphere was warm and fun. We could over hear the employees, they clearly enjoyed their work. The server checked in regularly and typed of our drinks as needed. The food was delicious, the service great, and if you haven't been, it's worth a visit.

I've only been here a few times over the years, but wished I had a chance to go more often. The staff is the most friendly staff I have ever seen at any restaurant. My family and I were there Easter Sunday for breakfast and all of us really enjoyed all the people that worked there. I wish I lived closer so that I could be a regular!

The food was terrible! I ordered a BLT. The bread was burnt bad & the bacon was burnt to a crisp and very greasy. The bacon looked as if it was under the heat lamp a very long time and it was served just to get rid of it. I was once a Restaurant Mgr and I can tell you, this food they served me was below substandard. The servers are supposed to be the first line of defense in serving food. If they wouldn't eat it, why would they even serve it to anyone else???

On Sunday, March 6 we were running behind because we were at an all day volleyball tournament. We hadn't eaten except snacks all day. We arrived at Bob Evans in Steubenville at 7:05pm and the sign posted said closes at 8pm. The hostess told us they were running 30 minutes behind due to online orders. There were only 4 tables with customers and they all had food. My husband said so are you refusing to sit us. She said yes you can go to Weirton. My family eats at Bob Evans in Steubenville once a week, I guess maybe we should go to Weirton all the time. We ended up going to Eat n Park in Steubenville and was treated with kindness and the food was awesome. It was a very sad day Bob Evans was my favorite restaurant since I went to college at Rio College where there original farm is.
