The best Indian restaurant so far. The meal reminds me of my mom's homemade food. The service is awesome and it has good different types of food for vegetarian lover
After working for IP for over a year and enjoying the food regularly, I can assure you there are few places (if any!) in downtown State College that rival IP. The family that owns the restaurant is active in the community, welcoming, and giving. The food is mouth watering and each new dish I tried made me fall more in love with the place. I would HIGHLY recommend India Pavilion to anyone who visits State College. Say hi for me!!
Tried their buffet and it was very much worthwhile. Reasonable price, good amount of dishes and desserts. And everything tasted good too.
Excellent Indian cuisine. I took my family there on my son's recommendation on the day he graduated from Penn State. Even though we didn't have a reservation we were seated promptly and the staff was very accommodating. The prices were very reasonable for a specialty buffet. Highly recommended.
While I enjoy the variety of foods on the dinner menu, I have to recommend the lunch buffet over dinner. I feel the lunch buffet is a far better deal than ordering a meal off the menu. The food in the buffet varies slightly every time I go but it has been 10/10 delicious every time I go. When I visit state college I always come to this place. When I go back home I struggle to find an Indian place as amazing as this one. I highly recommend this place. I tried Indian food for the first time from Indian pavilion… I now love Indian food!!
India Pavilion is easily my favorite restaurant in downtown State College. They have a large menu with many options for authentic Indian dishes. They serve high quality chicken and flavorful dishes with options for spice level. Prices are excellent for the serving sizes. The service is always great as well.
Best Indian food I’ve had. Every dish has its character and I was able to taste a lot of authentic dishes I only watched about on YouTube
India Pavilion never disappoints. Wish they delivered to our location, but pick-up has always been ready on-time, 100% accurate order, delicious and reasonably priced. Samosas are particularly noteworthy - delicious filling, crunchy wrapper - and big. Owners/managers are delightful.
