Wonderful food and great staff,.. the portions were definitely worth the money. Had enough food to eat there and eat a full meal at home. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone
They made us feel welcome from the start. Sat us right away and let us take our time. Great atmosphere and got our food quickly. Friendly people and I highly recommend them to anyone who loves great food!
This is our "go to" Mexican restaurant. The staff is so friendly and prompt, the food is always presented well, tasty and satisfying. But let's hear it for the delicious libations - our favorites are the fresh coconut mojitos (with real, fresh coconut!) and the cucumber jalapeño margaritas with chile lime salt. Someday we might try something different from the bar. We are welcomed at the door - it's nice to be greeted like old friends!
Great food, delicious drinks and friendly, speedy service! You really can't ask for anything more when dining out. This is one of the best places to eat in State College.
I'm from out of town, and I swear I was in Mexico eating this delicious food. My friend swore by this place, said everything is great, and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you're visiting State College/Penn State and love amazing food, you gotta come here, it's a slam dunk!
What can I say? Hector and his crew are unbelievable. The team at Plaza is always courteous, kind and on top of things!! Did I mention how delicious their food is??? It's out of this world!!!
Amazing authentic Mexican. Very delicious. The fajita nachos are amazing as well as all the food. Nice waiter and fast service. This was a wonderful experience. We will be back
I've only been here twice but both times were great. The prices are on par with any other mid priced restaurant. The food is in big portions and always served hot. The staff is always great. They always interact with my children (currently 2 and 6) and make them laugh as well as converse with me and my wife. This is on my list of favorite State College restaurants.
Excellent location for Mexican food. The food was super appetizing. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I loved.
A go to for my boyfriend and I for date night! We absolutely love this place. Food comes out CRAZY fast, and you get chips and salsa while you wait (highly recommend ordering queso too, SO good). We love the chicken empanadas for an appetizer. My boyfriend loves to get the Molcajete Azteca. It stays hot because it comes in a hot lava stone bowl and there's always leftovers for the next day! So it's definitely worth it for the price. This is also one of the only restaurants where I don't always get the same thing every time I go. And, if you're over 21, definitely get the corona margarita!
