I have always heard great things about this place. My daughter and I went in for the first time last night. We were there for dessert and had a tough time deciding what to get because everything looking insanely delicious! Even the other menu options sounded great. Everything is whole food, and they have tons of gluten-free and vegan options. I love that the coffee and wine bar are included in this little spot! Annnndddd they have paint and sip nights? Annnndddd it is on the rail trail and right next to my daughter’s favorite playground in all of Morgantown. I can’t wait to make regular stops there over this summer and take advantage of eating great food out on the patio. Seriously, this is my place. Stop here and eat a meal, grab a drink, or treat yourself! I promise you will be more than happy that you did!
Looking forward to the Mother’s Day brunch!! I am sure everything will be amazing!
My daughter and I stopped here for brunch on our way home from a road trip. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
I particularly appreciated the kindness and creativity employed in accommodating my food allergies/sensitivities. They had unexpectedly run out of GF bread, which I had ordered as a bagel substitute with the lox and cream cheese. They were apologetic, offering cucumber planks or tomato slices in lieu of bread. I opted for the cucumber planks. It was so incredibly delicious and fresh that I think it should be a regular menu item/option.
Even though we only pass through WV very few years, and this was only my third time at Terra Cafe, it had become a must-stop eatery for me.
Very happy and satisfied with the experience. We had a grilled vegetable salad that was delicious, the combination of the sweet flavors of beets, tomatoes, and fennels, of the spices and the crispiness of the spinach was a perfect choice. The sandwich was a roast beef with chimichurri. Top place!
I ordered the special which was Thai ginger chicken swiss chard wraps. It was fantastic. So flavorful. Took home the roasted vegetable salad. The salad was excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious. I will be back.
202206 I finally made it back and they're open!! So many treats! I got the strawberry cheesecake, blackberry lemon chiffon cupcake, a PowerBar, 2 peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookie, ginger molasses, and a green machine smoothie. They add up fast. Cupcakes, cheesecakes are $5+, cooked are $2+... I spent $30+. Tried the strawberry cheese cake and its really good. Beautifully decorated! A work of art. The ginger cookie was sooo good. Crunchy just as I like it. The green machine was also good. I will come back again when I'm in Morgantown next time, and I want to try their food. I like that they support local artists.
202107 I'm not used to businesses closed over the entire holiday weekend! This is the first time ... Stopped by 2 restaurants in the area that I really wanted to try since I'm vacationing in the area and both closed the ENTIRE holiday weekend? It's great that these restaurant owners and employees are enjoying their long weekend celebrating the birthday of this great country... I would understand if it's Sunday or Monday... But Saturday? So disappointed. Also the hours weren't updated on Google which I rely on quite a bit.
The gluten free French toast with sides of chicken sausage and fruit was scrumptious! I had to double check with the server because I couldn't believe how tasty the gluten free bread was that they used. Next time, I will be buying a loaf to take home.
Great little Cafe spot for breakfast. Coffee and pastries are great but the other menu items are just okay and nothing to write home about, with the excepting of the potatoes which were spectacular. There's a nice little outside seating area to sit and enjoy your coffee.
I gotta say, this cafe is a great place to start the day or just enjoy a good meal. The employees are very professional and welcoming. The customer service is outstanding and the food is delicious. Definitely is a must try. Thank you for such a great experience.
They have the best potato soup I have had in a long time. The coconut macaroons are the best around as well. Glad they are right under my barbershop as a downstairs neighbor. One of the reasons I chose my location. They do some good things locally for local artists displaying their work for sale, and great causes of many types. That helped draw me in to want to be around that type of vibe for my old and new found clients as well. Bluegrass from local groups of musicians on Thursdays has been a cool addition for a while to just pause and take in. Down by the river in Star City right on the trail, so people ride their bikes there a lot too which is pretty cool.
