Best tacos I've ever had. I'd recommend the Carne asada tacos and the spicy veggies on the side (not sure what they're called).

My BFF and I were meeting for lunch but I needed to be somewhere else close by. We found Tacos Puro Jalisco 2 online, on the corner of Cerritos and Western. I can only rate the tortas we had but they were pretty filling and tasty. Menu price was $8.75 with 5 standard meat choices. I had al pastor and bestie had asada. We only finished half because they were pretty good size. You'd have to be fairly hungry to finish the whole torta. They're served with ample sides of red and green chile, radish and peppers. She had horchata and I had Jamaica of course 😉.
The place itself used to be a different Mexican food place and before that a burger joint several years ago. It is not fancy by any means and the tables and benches are worn as well. It is a familiar neighborhood eatery slightly bigger than a hole-in-the-wall with enough parking for a minor lunch rush. But we didn't go for the atmosphere and were pretty satisfied with the very friendly service by the cook who also cashiered us.
We were so busy catching up that I forgot to take pics of my torta and the surroundings. But if you want good food at more than affordable prices head over to Tacos Puro Jalisco 2. I don't regret it a bit.
Waited forever at the drive thru menu and almost drove off but decided to drive up to the window and they took my order there. The best Al Pastor tacos I have ever had.
Drive thru or dine in. The place looks less than stellar when you first walk in, but their food is amazing! The fact that they were playing Spanish Language Ska music was enough for me to give it five stars, but eating there solidified the deal for me
The place is awesome! The food is great, the prices are very fair and the portions are fair. It is going to be my and my family's go to Mexican joint from now on. Been here for 4 months and finally went, wish I came here before. They're open late too, so if you need a bite at night, no reason to go anywhere else.
Tried this place today and I was so happy doing my taco dance. Everything ordered was carne asada. Burrito, tacos, and torta were all delish. Definitely my new favorite spot. Fresh veggies, good salsa. Delish
Good street tacos. $1.50 everyday, no specials for taco Tuesday. Kind of on the smaller side. Carne asada is a bit fatty if you like that, al pastor has a lot of sauce that makes it sweeter than others.
Good size burritos and Tortas, fast and friendly service. Got a bunch of burritos for the office and everyone seem to love it
This is my go-to spot when I have some late night munchies and I don't wanna get out of my car. I always get a burrito and lengua tacos. Their flavor is consistent AF, their asada torta is also bomb.
These tacos remind me so much of TJ tacos without the Gucamole. They were small but very generous with their meat. I tried the chorizo, al pastor, and carne asada. We also had a milulita and quesadilla. They were all delicious. Will definitely be visiting again soon!
