Excellent stop for breakfast and lunch! Breakfast is served all day. I had the Miga w/ chorizo. It is a tasty Southwestern breakfast dish. The French Toast was a winner as well as the local grass fed burger.
The happiest place on earth.... Forget Disney Land, Stanley Baking Co. & Cafe is the happiest place on earth. There are two things that make this absolutely true: 1) the Sawtooth Mountains are incredibly beautiful and I would say Redfish Lake is my favorite place in the world and 2) this is the best bakery I have ever been to. I grew up in Seattle and throughout my life our family has ventured to Redfish Lake to camp, swim, hike, and ride our bikes. Naturally all this excersize and work made us hungry. This bakery hit the spot hard core style. It also wins in my dad's book because he is always searching for the best sticky bun. GO HERE. seriously.
These guys seem to have it figured out on how to make great food and accommodate whatever crowd may come (they are always busy, and the food is always Great) Trust me you wont be dissapointed, and they own the Sawtooth Hotel and restaurant, the revue is the same, amazing food for this little burg with a population of 100!
Got the ‘We got the beet’ patty (they were attentive to my gluten free needs) and a latte. YUM! Such a tasty breakfast, excellent service, and perfect ambiance. I’ll make it a priority to come back next time I’m in town!
The gem of Stanley. My husband and I love this spot and have to go every time we are in town. If you get here during the rush you will have to wait in line, but once you order your food gets to you fairly fast. The bakery is bomb but get there early before they start running out of things. Everything on their breakfast menu is delicious. Our favorite is the french toast. If the line is long and you are with a group I recommend someone getting in the fast lane to order coffee and things from the bakery while you are waiting for your food. They also have libations which is a bonus! I highly recommend, just make sure you get here before they close for the winter!
Relaxed but very busy focus point in Stanley. They expanded the patio to 16 tables or so which were taken on Friday afternoon.
But the kitchen was mostly able to keep up with the crowd, allowing a line of 5 people.
You can bypass the line if you only want drinks and pastries, which are fresh and tasty, by ordering at the express window outside
Enjoy the sun, breeze, food, priceless views.
Beware the opening hours.
LOVED THIS PLACE!!! The place is cozy, ghere is space inside and outside to have breakfast. The coffee is included in your breakfast ☕. The staff is wonderful, everybody is super kind and the food is very good, prices are ok and you can have a very good breakfast warming up in a cold Stanley morning ❤️.
What a hidden gem in Stanley. We were there in line as soon it opened at 7am to beat the crowd. It does get busy. We tried the quinoa cakes with veggies and French toast. Both were delicious. Do not miss this if you are in Stanley
Everything was perfect. Pancakes were perfectly cooked, scrambled eggs were excellent, bacon is crispy. Coffee was delicious. Atmosphere was outstanding. I will be back!
Best food in Stanley. Food is like what I would make at home. Delicious. I enjoyed the casual ordering at the counter and pick your own table. I can see this style allows alot of customers to get in where a typical server style would not. I would never get in with server style since this place is so popular. Kudos! I will be back again and again ☺️
I have been to this amazing little restaurant for the past 8 or so years. I am NEVER disappointed. A little tip - go on the off hour for breakfast (either early or a bit later) as they get crazy busy! Enjoy
