I took a chance going without a reservation and got lucky. Our party of 5 were seated right way for a Father's day dinner. I love the ambiance and food. I'd definitely return. The staff were very kind and professional.

So tonight we were lucky enough for our gift card from my daughter to use here. The bow tie pasta with salmon always is a good tasting meal. Service is what I like here. Always so friendly.

I am just sorry we didn't take photos to post...we happened upon Cappriccos last night in default because the restaurant we intended to go to was closed. What a wonderful default! The food was amazing! I just don't get some of the reviews that have been posted. We started with the Meatball appetizer and the Crispy Zucchini. The meatballs were tender and packed with "old school" Italian flavor and the Zucchini was light and crisp (for my husband to comment on how good the food is is a tell tale sign, he eats to eat, I eat to experience) I NEVER order a pork chop when I am out, but I love Scarparielio sauce and didn't want to ask to substitute chicken. That was one of the best sauces and the pork was tender (at first touch I thought it may be under cooked? not at all, cooked perfect just that tender) the crisp potatoes that were softened with the sauce led to the complete perfection of the dish. My husband had the Bronzino and ate every bite along with my daughters boyfriends pasta, Orrecchiette with pesto, broccoli rabe and sausage whose plate did not leave a trace. The cocktail list is great along with the beer and wine selections. Is it pricey? Is anything NOT pricey in these days? I wish we lived closer to Stamford, Cappriccio's would be a staple in our diet!

1 month ago, My husband and I first time in Stamford CT for a Weekend Getaway! We drove around and found this awesome spot! Capriccio Café!! We had a  great dining experience and the best drinks with Enzo the Bartender, he was very  friendly and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend visiting him and the place he works at Capriccio. I call him  Enzo The Bartender, Master of Drinkology!!! :D -We'll be back soon :)

Solid dining experience. Nice outdoors seating area. Service was fine. A touch on the pricey side. My salad was underdressed but fine. Perfect for a business lunch.

Good place to have a drink but not so great with the food. We were suggested some vegetarian dishes by the waiter there but they didn't turn out as great. Stay away from the vodka pasta. You just can't bite it enough or maybe they hadn't cooked it properly. Presentation of the dishes is good but then taste is more important. And they also got our drink wrong.

Ordered a chicken panini and the chopped chicken salad. Took one bite of the panini and it was awful. Looked at the chicken and it looked like day old grilled chicken that was left out. While the salad looked fresh I wasn’t taking a chance with rancid chicken on top. Really it’s embarrassing for this place. Do better.

Food and Ambience is generally very good. Avoid the Salad options, not worth it. But rest of the items in menu is a go.
