Checkers

Fries are good. They put plenty of bacon on the bacon burgers. However if you ask for anything else they smother it mayonnaise and hope you don’t realize they didn’t put tomatoes and onions on your burger you asked for and the extra pickles mean you get a total of two on a burger. Slushy machine also doesn’t work. My Personal preference that marinara sauce should come with mozzarella sticks. So I was disappointed when I didn’t get any. The mozzarella sticks we okay.

Ok here goes. I felt the burger was pre cooked. That being said. It tasted great. The burger is only part of the story, the fries are wonderful. This was had to believe for a 69 year old man, but my first visit ever to Checkers was an A. Been looking for for another Checkers sence returning home from St. PETES. TRY IN5E IF YOU NEVER HAD ONE.

We arrived to no cars waiting and placed our order. Once we got to the window we were asked to repeat our order, then after 2 minutes we were asked to repeat our order again, then we waited another 2-3 minutes and we were asked 1 last time to repeat our order. The staff was playing around in the kitchen, and the manager was present. Then when we finally paid for our order we were asked to park and wait for our food. We then waited approximately 20 minutes in the parking lot to get our food. The only good experience was from the really tall young guy that said he has been working there for only about 2-3 months or so. Sadly I definitely will not be returning!

Had not been to this chain before so took a few minutes looking at the menu. Quite frankly two and three dollar burgers do not appeal as we query the quality of the meat. We decided to order the chicken wings with fries,a soda and a milkshake. Wings were cooked to order and took 15 minutes to prepare. Fries were cold and old. The milkshake was overly sweet and had a synthetic banana flavor. Hygiene was a major concern for us, the tables have not been wiped down, had food residue on them, and the bathrooms were pretty gross. As we were leaving and passing by the car parking/sitting area we noticed a dead rat within five feet of a table. Staff appeared to be poorly trained in customer service and restaurant procedures.

Was craving a burger and shake. Ive been to this location before but last night's service and food was disappointing. Only one car ahead of me and after placing order i sat in the window for probably 5 minutes. Not a problem if after that time i had received hot and fresh food. Fries were lame and the burger wasn't much better. Shake was fine. Will have to drive the extra distance to five guys next time.

Waited 8 min to place my order when I was the only one in line in the drive thru. Just wanted chicken nuggets and the guy told me it would be at least 20 minutes! Like, what? Everything is in a tray or a fryer here. Come on! Still took 10 more min for 2 chicken bite boxes. Longest wait ever for checkers. The employees were nice but that is just too long for fast food when its only you and a person at the window. This is definitely not my first time at a checkers but ill go to a different location next time for all of that.
