Stopped by after an appointment and I am so glad I did!! The guys working there were super friendly and chill. They let me modify a roll and I also ordered their vegetarian rol... And they were BOMB!! I finished them so quickly and I wished I ordered more!!!

Stopped in here because the reviews looked good. Service was great, but the food not so much. Mediocre bowls that felt more like a sizzler salad vs poke. The salmon didn't taste too fresh. Rice was soggy. Missing some items/options like tobiko, shavings, seaweed, sesame, Daikin, radish, etc. Portion size of the bowl was decent for the price, but I doubt I'd go back.

What a pleasant surprise. Quality that equals or exceeds many of the better known sushi restaurants in St Pete but at very reasonable prices. Not at all what you might expect in the middle of a strip mall in Lealman. Quick, friendly service from a family owned and operated restaurant.

It was good and fresh tasting. Quick order turnover time. Better than most sushi but not my favorite. Give it a 7/10.

Idk how this place has good reviews maybe they haven’t experience good sushi and bowls. I should have known walking up to the place but gave it a shot. Literally the worst most pathetic bowl I’ve ever had and I order bowls weekly not to mention I had a hair in it so threw it away. There wasn’t anything to it and NOTHING was fresh about this. Save yourself the money and drive a mile further.

Went here because a friend recommended it. The food was delicious and was prepared extremely fast. Definitely a perfect place to grab food on a lunch break or take out. I would recommend the Mount Fuji roll because their volcano mix stands out from all other sushi places.

We were in the area for my daughter's soccer and felt like sushi. Ikigai had such great reviews so we tried it. Happy we did - fast, fresh, fabulous bowl at a fantastic price of $10. Not sure the perspective of the picture really shows how much food was in the bowl. It was a huge bowl.
