Pita Republic

Excellent lunch spot in the heart of Gateway area. They have great Pitas, salads, and wraps. Healthy food at affordable prices. I try to make it there weekly. The owner is a very nice guy and is always there working hard. Highly recommend for a fast healthy lunch. I truly do not understand the bad reviews on here. Many seem to be upset about the hours. So you discount a place because they close early sometimes? It is pretty much a one man operation much of the time. Also, I have never had my order wrong or been given poor customer service. They are always kind and fast. It seems some of the "local guides" get a little full of themselves.

Bad experience going to this location for the first time. As soon as I call they put me on hold, after a while I had to hang up and call back. I ask for a chicken Caesar pita and he said he couldn’t understand me. He was trying to tell me that chicken pita and chicken Caesar Pita is different. I know what I ask for and was well aware because I order it all the time from another location. I also tried to order a mango smoothie and was informed that they no longer make smoothies. I felt the customer service could be better and will not be returning to this location again.

Was treated with complete disrespect over the phone order I tried to place 35 minutes before closing. Telling us to hurry and get here. Then was hurried at the counter a half hour before scheduled close time. He argued with us that he had to leave soon and didn't prepare the sandwiches because he "didn't know we were going to pay". So infuriated. I have been a chef 17 years and explained how unprofessional it was to treat customers this way. I serve regularly after my scheduled shift ends, no excuses. You have no business in the hospitality industry sir.
