City's Bistro

Had lunch there. The sandwiches are nice size. The tuna was very tasty. The roast beef was too well done for my taste, but tasty anyway. The owner is very nice, as is the ambience. Small place with just a few tables, maybe six tables and a snack bar. They do a lot of to go and catering orders. Very extensive menu with lots of choices. We would go there again and try some different things.

It was very easy to order and pick-up. The staff was quite friendly. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and Chicken Caesar to share. The ingredients were of high quality and were very fresh. I do have one criticism. There was no pickle on the Cuban and the salad seemed a little skimpy based on previous visits. It might be because they seemed to be very busy. We will definitely return because there have been many good visits.

We found this place by all the great Yelp reviews. Are only disappointment is that we did not try this wonderful place sooner. First the Wife and Husband who run the eatery are so friendly. We sat in amazement as the wife greeted almost everyone by name and knew what their usual orders are. No wonder the locals keep coming back. The food was made scratch and the portions were plentiful. We even received a complimentary plate of her fresh made muffins -- OMG.. Both of our breakfast meals were so delicious, the coffee was always fresh and my cup never was empty. I simply can not say enough about the team there and the food. We will never be in St. Pete again without eating here again. Trust the Yelp Elites - this place is amazing!!

There is not one menu item that I’ve ordered that I haven’t loved and craved for days after. The food is so good! Fresh and flavorful and perfect portions. I order from here weekly for lunch. I’ve had their Reuben, Cuban, Turkey sandwiches, Brie sandwich, pasta salad, Hummus Wrap, all the salads, and more. Oh and every salad dressing is delish! City Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants in St Pete. So, so good!

4.11.19 Food still yummy. Service is still excellent. Menu changed a couple of times since but still great. Love the homemade biscuit. Very good, well-prepared, and nicely presented breakfast. Good service. Daily specials available and posted outside. Should be posted inside as well even if it's just printed on 8 1/2 × 11, rather telling customers to go back outside to look. Will come back. Not sure why they don't have more traffic. Much less hipster vibe than Banyan next door? Stark white walls so not as warm and welcoming? Less space? Anyway, great food.

Fabulous customer service. It was like eating with my family. And DELICIOUS sandwhiches. Cut fresh meat, none of that deli sliced meat! Keep up the great work, we’ll be back to try your breakfast! *UPDATE: Breakfast was equally delicious. If you’re looking for good service, friendly atmosphere, and delicious food, this is your place.
