7-eleven

7-Eleven on Long Key, St. Pete Beach, has a wide variety of consumer goods. Also it is very convenient because it’s open 24 hours. And places on this small island don’t stay open around the clock. But if you need something in the wee hours of the morning, this place is your best bet. The only drawback here that I discovered is alcohol stops being sold at midnight.

TJ and Had-too are wonderful and so helpful each and every time I enter to make my nightly purchases. I am demanding with my orders and often require several pizzas to be made to take home. Each and every time they are joyful and accommodating no matter how crazy busy they are with the tourist. I find this with Jim as well on his shifts. These men are an incredible asset to 7-11 and enjoy their friendly disposition. I often enter to make purchases just to make a pitstop before heading home.

Was told the store was closed (it was only 12:00 and it’s a 24hr store) but not until minutes after walking around shopping. Not to mention I visited the store the night before with no issue and fantastic service-which is the only reason I gave 3 stars; along with the few times I had been while going to the beach. To make my point clear, I was disappointed in my most recent visit, seeing as there were two workers inside the saw is from the moment we entered, not to mention the police officer sitting right out from with windows rolled down. Each of the three men neglected to mention that the store(which, again, is ab24 hour store) was closed at 12, yet all lights were still on, doors unlocked and two workmen casually standing there just chatting and not performing any closing tasks and it was already 30 minutes past supposed closing time.

We were in here every day a couple of years ago when we stayed at the hotel across the street. The staff could not have been more helpful and kind. They are very friendly and appreciate your business. It’s a nice clean, bright shop with everything you should need while on holiday. We were there when Hurricane Matthew was about and were very grateful for the store staying open. We can’t recommend the staff and the store highly enough. Thank you for your help and service. P & M.
