Saucy Taco is a great place to check out. If you have been in the past and haven't visited in a while, they have changed their menu. I still tend to go to Tijuana Flats more often, but when I want to switch it up, Saucy Taco is a nice change of pace. I'm a big fan of chimichangas and in my opinion, the version at Saucy Taco is pretty good. It is filled with a large helping of rice, beans, corn, cheese and your choice of meat. The chips are also really good here, they often give you both corn tortilla chips, and flour. As their name implies, they have a nice selection of tacos on the menu too. If you aren't in the mood for tacos, they also have bowls, burritos and even burgers. On my most recent trip, I finally tried the empanadas. They have a daily flavor, and I tried the beef and cheese variety, the filling was good and the crust was nice and crispy. If you like Mexican food, this place is worth a visit if you are in the area.

Saucy Taco use to be a regular place for our family run in and grab a quick lunch or dinner. My recent visit, though, will probably be my last. When we walked inside the restaurant smelled like an old musty mop. 😣 It also felt like the air conditioning wasn’t running. It was VERY stale feeling. It wasn’t very crowded, and they had a hostess, 2 waitresses, and a bartender in the front end. I’m not sure how many people they had in the kitchen. It took FOREVER to get everything. I had to constantly remind our waitress that we needed something or correct her when she brought the wrong thing to the table. She was very sweet, but bless her heart, she seemed inexperienced. All of the staff seemed to have a lack of direction. It felt like a management problem, as though there wasn’t anyone there to lead the team and make the restaurant function efficiently. When the food arrived, it looked like it had been tossed onto the plate from across the kitchen. I might be overly dramatic here, but by this point, I was pretty frustrated. I can absolutely stop acting like a princess and get over the fact that there are splatters of grease and cheese on my plate, IF I’m about to consume some delicious eats, but that wasn’t the case here. It was ok at best. Not at all the way it’s been in the past. I’m not sure what has changed, but they certainly have some opportunities to improve.

Incredibly slow service. Food is less than desirable. I ordered avocado tacos with corn tortilla which was a weird combination of competing flavors. Corn tortilla tasted raw. Will not return.

I love this place! The chips are unlike anything else I've ever had, apparently they're fried tortillas... so soft and delicious. Saucy Taco has a really good vibe to it, good music and good people. If you're looking for good food and nice people, this is for you!

My daughter and I were looking for a good taco spot in the area for daddy daughter date night. We stumbled upon this place and we are glad we did. The tacos are excellent, the jalapeño poppers are to die for, the chips are great and the beer selection is amazing. Great little gem in fruit cove.

Have you eaten at the Saucy Taco yet? Has turned into a classic local joint next to the Publix off State Rd 13. They are a cross between a sports bar and mexican restaurant. They have a lot of TV's, good size bar and serve Mexican food. The buttermilk chicken tacos are awesome! We've been their several times when theirs also been live entertainment.

Bottles in lamp above my table were dusty. The ground beef on my taco was cold despite it having been remade.
