Support your local businesses, including Chokolatte which is owned by a lovely family. At first glance, you'd think that this place only sells ice cream, but take a closer look at the menu & you'll see that there's more than that. This place also sells, boba tea, shakes, hot dogs, chips, tostilocos & a variety of other Mexican treats. The business owners are very friendly & you can often find their children with them in the store helping out. There is outdoor seating for you to enjoy the hot St. Helena summers or stay in & feel the refreshing ac blasting. Regardless of what your sweet tooth is, you're sure to find your fix here at Chokolatte.
Love the ice cream and gelato at this little shop, which is located on a leafy residential street in St. Helena. There are ice cream tables and chairs on the front sidewalk. I take my Mom here for gelato every other month or so. The owner is a pleasant man, but when his employee scooping the gelato, she gives bigger scoops!
We love this place. Locally owned and operated, they are the nicest people. My fiance and I love the coffee, our daughter loves the ice cream and candy selection. Also a good place to cleans the palate after wine tasting :).
This was my second time here. Delicious gelato in a nice atmosphere, located just off the main street.
This place is good and the people mean well but when you go there they usually will be out of your first (and possibly your second choice). It might be because they are the only ice cream in town, but it would be nice if the prepared for the demand....
A fantastic little Mexican sweet shop! Lots of ice cream and gelato flavors to choose from, mangonadas, boba smoothies, milk shakes, plenty of candy and bags of chips! A fine replacement for the big Dipper,... I give this place 4 stars and not 5 because of two reasons: 1, it doesn't quite feel authentic or personal the way the big Dipper of the 80s/90s did, yet... 2, not open on Sundays, I get it but, a lot of people would love to sit out front on Sundays sipping on a mangonada and enjoying some bubblegum ice cream!
Great place for a family treat! Very reasonable price with great tasting ice cream and fantastic Tostilocos! I highly recommend this down to earth place. The owner is super friendly everytime we have there.
Jose is the friendliest and most professional owner of this business, rivaling the professionalism of people with decades more experience! His coffee is even better than the overpopulation Starbucks. Go see him to find out for yourself!
I really like it there. The Ice Cream is very good and they have plenty of snacks to chose from. The pricing is a little bit pricy but in my opinion, it's worth it!
