We had a lovely dinner at Goose and Gander. My wife and I took a dear friend to dinner there the other night. We all were impressed by the food, the atmosphere, and the service. The only negative is we would have liked to see a few more vegetarian options. Our friend is a vegetarian, so it was tricky for her to find much in the way to eat. There were options, but it would have been nice to have had a few more. The hors d'oeuvres were fantastic! The peach and almond salad was very tasty. My steak was cooked to perfection as was my wife's salmon. Everything was very yummy. The pumpkin cheese cake was amazing!

Best place ever. I had the special of Halibut. It was phenomenal. Also ordered milk bread and chicken wings very very good. Finally, it was a friends birthday and received a hummingbird cake with ice cream. May be the best thing I ever ate. Amy
Everything on this menu is amazing. We have been here many times- we love to bring visitors. For starters, they serve the best cocktails in the valley! The mushroom soup is amazing but here’s a little secret tip- ask for the demitasse portion. It’s so rich but so delicious- the small size is perfect. The burger and fries are famous for good reason but this time the NY strip steak was what we were all delighted with! It was the best steak we’ve had in a long time. Desserts were all delicious- especially the bread pudding and the hummingbird cake!
The food was amazing as well as the service and cocktails. It got a little loud but we were seated right by the kitchen. Besides that it was all great and enjoyable. I would recommend this place for those wanting an upscale dining experience.
We had three of the cocktails in the downstairs bar. Incredibly crafted with a lot of unique combinations. Every single one was a masterpiece, especially the Mellivora Capensis. The atmosphere and service were wonderful as well. Excellent place to grab a drink!
Sat outside and it was absolutely lovely. Our server was very good at his job, and the food was all great. Highly recommend their mushroom soup. Hands down the best mushroom soup I've ever had.
We visited for New Years Eve for their special fixed menu. Even though it was fixed there were still plenty of options to satisfy the varying tastes of each of our party. Especially great were the scallops, probably the best I ever had. The other person who also ordered scallops agreed. We also visit on non holiday nights and have always had great service and food. Their enclosed patio is very nice and allows well behaved dogs. Our whole family is happy in the patio.
This is a 4.5 star review. Beautiful location with a fantastic indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside and it was lovely. Go hungry, the menu is sumptuous and rich. Their wine list is spectacular and has something for every budget, all the way up to $12k bottle. Great service, everything was delicious - we wished we were hungrier. So heed that advice and go hungry. We had been grazing and wine tasting all day so we couldn’t eat more. The cocktail we had so delicious and refreshing we could have had several. The bone marrow was delicious buttery and smokey with the grilled bread. The ambiance is very festive and romantic. They have heaters that they light so it’s still very comfortable to sit outdoors. If you are driving you will find street parking in the vicinity. That’s what we did. Highly recommend adding it to your list for dining. Just fab!
We had the nicest meal at Goose & Gander a few weeks ago! The staff was very attentive and kind, the drinks were great and the food was wonderful. We ate downstairs and really appreciated the ambiance of the bar. Hopeful to come back again soon.
Fabulous dinning experience! We sat outside since the weather was so nice. I had the millionaire cocktail which I liked immensely since it was on the tart side. The G&G burger with the crispy bun and duck fat fries was off the chart delicious! The fried squash blossoms were good but not great to me. I just did care for the salsa Verde they were served with. The pecan pie was perfection! Great way to end the meal. It wasn’t overly sweet which was a wonderful surprise. Great service and ambience!
