This could have been a 5 star review - so why not you ask?! The chaos is the answer. It’s pure chaos and mayhem due to popularity it’s packed and multiple lines and doors not knowing who’s coming going etc. So don’t go when you are ‘hangry’ it will get worse. The food is incredible, worth the wait.
Really good bakery! It was a great pit stop for a coffee and pastry. Unfortunately, their hours are wildly incorrect online. They close at 4pm (Thursday) while it says 5:30pm online. We felt rushed eating and drinking our coffee. Otherwise, delicious!
We bought our desserts for New Year’s Eve party at this bakery. Fittingly, they have 2023 cookies that were a hit with the kiddos. The assorted tarts were perfectly flakey (crust) and rich (filling). Service was fast, but place can be a bit crowded.

We ordered breakfast sandwiches online before a day of wine tasting. They were absolutely delicious! So glad that we ordered them ahead though! They are doing construction on the dining area of the store front and they said because of this, wait time was longer than usual (15 min).
Had breakfast here twice while in St Helena. You can order online or walk up and order from several cashiers. Had the veggie sandwich which was really good. We went back the second day and got toasted English muffins to go. Can’t go wrong with Oprah’s favorite! 👍🏻
We love Model Bakery. Whenever we go to Napa one of our first visits is to Model Bakery to get English Muffins. There is nothing else like them anywhere. If we are there in the morning then the breakfast sandwich is awesome. On our last visit I got an Apple Pie and my goodness it was awesome! Model
English muffins were like no other English muffins. So buttery and delicious. Everything else we tried was phenomenal as well. Highly recommend this place to any St. Helena visitors.
