For starters we ordered beef tartare. The taste is very classic and the bread is toasted well. Every bite is very smooth. For the main dish, we ordered steak and eggs and a trout to share. The trout is very astonishing. The texture of the fish is very soft and the mushrooms on top are definitely a plus. The vinaigrette sauce makes it more enjoyable. The steak on the other hand, is just mediocre. I like the baked potatoes a lot though. The price is sort of high so be prepared.
I had some family out of the country visit and this restaurant completely blew all of their expectations out of the water. Everything was cooked to perfection, with the grilled trout completely stealing the spotlight. Don’t get me wrong, the ribs were fantastic, as well as the steak. But the trout was on a completely different level. Highly recommend this dish to EVERYONE. The sides were delicious as well, complimenting everything. We had also ordered a bottle of their in-house sparkling wine and that was fantastic. It was just as good as the champagne we brought! If you’re going to Napa, I highly recommend this place. Truly a world-class experience. Bravo!
Also, don’t even worry if you are seated outside. It was very cold the evening we were there but their outdoor seating in the back is completely insulated with heaters at each table. Well done!
Fantastic service and food at Farmstead.
Biscuits with sweet butter are definitely how to start here with a bottle of Champagne. Beef tartare with super fresh yolks has superb acidity - was great. Pork chops also cooked incredibly well, no dry spots with a ton of flavor. Burgers and pulled pork sandwiches also pulled their weight with super tasty smokiness. Service was fantastic, was running late and they were able to push and get our food out super quick. Thank you!
By and far our favorite restaurant in Napa Area. Food is fabulous as is the service and atmosphere. Sit outside in the beautiful gardens and don’t miss the beet salad and trout. Amazing!!! We eat here with our friends every time we come to town. We highly recommend for brunch or dinner!

Server was informal with the food of the day. Recommend the Trout and was very impressed! I even recommend it, the mushrooms on it was very good and I don’t like mushrooms much. Great place to come after a wine taste. It’s reservations for inside seating but outside is first come first serve. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is my number one favorite restaurant in Napa Valley. The farm to table is authentic and they were one of the first to prefect this. I love the cheddar biscuits, the grilled trout smothered in almonds and mushrooms, and the chocolate cream pie for dessert. They are always filling- book in advance
As a visitor from Florida, this place met ALL my expectations.
To start, the manager (Kevin) greeted us at our table immediately and repeatedly checked up on us.
Katlyn, our waitress was wonderful.
EVERYTHING was perfect. Vegetables are (mostly) grown on their own facilities.
Coffee was great, and my cup was never empty. Burger was great, and the bun was fresh.
The grounds of the facility were meticulously kept and beautiful. It is sort of like a mini campus.
If you want an enjoyable experience with exceptional service with quality food.... this should be a stop for you.
This is a must stop when you visit Napa Valley! Awesome property, great bites and drinks, fun place to spend an afternoon/evening! Freshest veggies and meats compliment the farmhouse cuisine!!

Sat outside for a late-ish Friday night dinner. It was a lovely experience all around - great vibe, great food. Would totally recommend! Super fresh vegetables - tasted like they were just plucked out of the earth before we ate them. Also - who knew grits could be so tasty?! Everything was tops :)
Good atmosphere and nice staff. But main plate food tastes too healthy, little bland. Apps were good. Hard to find parking though. Beautiful restaurant.
