Sporks

A tip from the beer guy at the lighthouse. That doesn't always turn out good. This time, it turned out to be a home run. Sports earns the right to advertise "Real Good Food" on the window. Everything on the menu was a hit. Chimichurri pork sandwich was tender and flavorful but they toasted the bun so well it added a beautiful crunch to the sandwich. The pesto chicken was rich in pesto flavor but not soaked in pesto sauce. You could really make a meal of the sides, though. The bacon Mac and cheese was TO DIE FOR. I wish they had not run out of potato salad but that caused me to get the cilantro lime cole slaw. Cole slaw! Here I am raving about cole slaw! Who has ever done that?! Light sauce, light, refreshing and crispy. Did you get that? Crispy, not soggy, cole slaw. Hibiscus tea was as sweet and floral as you could want. The iced coffee was good enough for two refills (no charge). Prices are lower than the average lunch and this was WAY BEYOND the average lunch!!

Libby and Miles catered the rehearsal dinner for my wedding in November 2021. This was a destination wedding and I was blindly searching for caterers. I stumbled upon Sporks and the reviews were excellent, so I reached out. The communication was amazing. When you live thousands of miles away, it can be a challenge to get a response, let alone a commitment. Libby responded to me the day I reached out, and committed the following day. Their pricing was not only affordable, but allowed for so many options. They also provided some services that went above and beyond to make my event easier. They showed up early to setup, and everything went smoothly. They stayed for a few hours to serve our guests, answer questions, and then when we were done, packed up all of our food and put it in the fridge so we could mingle with our guests. The FOOD! Oh my goodness, our guests are still raving about the bacon mac and cheese and shrimp skewers, and quite frankly everything they served. They cooked most of the appetizers fresh on a grill on site! I am so grateful we found them for our event. I give them 10 out of 10 for both service and quality, and all the things that come with it. Thank you!

We were beyond thrilled with Sporks catering at our wedding last weekend. When we started to look for caterers for our wedding last year, so many places were already booked, but Sporks was recommended to us, so we decided to give it a shot. From our initial tasting, we were thoroughly impressed!! The hors d'oeuvres were spectacular and made right there at the venue - our guests are STILL raving about them. And dinner was also a hit! It was so nice to offer our guests something that wasn't the traditional chicken wedding dinner. We had many guests approach us about this and we couldn't have agreed more. Libby and Miles helped us set up and bus tables as well as provided additional staff to make it a truly seamless experience. At the end of the night, they also helped us by rinsing off the rental flatware and cups to return to our rental vendor. We are so grateful with how much care and thought everyone at Sporks handled our special day. We can't say enough good things about them and their food!
