Barley Republic Public House

When it looked like we were too late for food after trying other places, the kind and lovely Jennifer got us in just under the wire, and our dinner was outstanding! I had the fish and chips which were among the best I've ever had... we're talking quality cod here, in a nice batter, and deep fried perfectly, with really tasty steak fries. My wife had the chicken sliders, which she also enjoyed very much. Nice beer and liquor selection, too... and fine service from a staff that actually appreciates your business! Put this place on your "must visit" list! Thanks, again!

Went here eating with the family and had a lovely time. Good wait staff got our food out in about 25 minutes. We got the pork belly sliders to start which were amazing. The fish fry though? Holy moly. Crispy and light, fried perfectly, easy to pick up with my hands and dip into their homemade tartar sauce- no fork or knife needed. Everything was hot from the frier and superb.

It was 10:40PM and we had called pretty much every place to see if they were still serving food, and they all said "No"... then one said, "No, but check out Barley Republic". SO GLAD THEY SAID THAT. This place is a GEM. The drinks are so good and different. My brother got a rosemary cocktail and I got The Bees Knees--and it had chai-infused honey?! Bruhhhh! My brother and I both got the BYOB burgers and he was raving about the housemade ranch. Unfortunately we ate our burgers too quickly to take a photo, they looked too delicious! The staff and environment were all 10/10 and I'm coming here again next time I'm in town!

Food menu is very cool and everything I've ordered is amazing. The bartender was rude, though, which dampened the whole experience for us. She appeared to be having a rough day or week and we felt like we were bothering her the entire time. But I've been here before and I'll be back, just won't sit at the bar if she is there.
