Cute little waffle shop. I definitely recommend as I was very pleased with my food and my boyfriend was too. The fruit was fresh and ripe and definitely placed with purpose onto my waffle rather than thrown on there. The waffle itself had a nice cruch on the outside with a chewy center. You can definitely taste the difference in the batter since they use the pearl sugar which is an authentic Belgian waffle batter compared to a pancake batter cooked in a waffle iron. The inside is tiny but there's some tables outside as well so you can enjoy the nice weather. I regret not getting a milkshake this time but I'll definitely get one next time since I'll be back of course.

The staff was very nice and the food was very tasty! The serving size for the waffle with apples and ice cream was bigger than expected, so I was pleasantly surprised. I also got the chocolate brownie milkshake which was very yummy, and the brownie tasted like real homemade brownies. My friend didn't like how thick it was, but I didn't mind. The ambiance and decor was very nice as well.

McLean made this!!! OMG! It’s so good. It’s called Whirlybird. It’s my first time eating Belgian Waffle and it’s an amazing first experience. He’s killing it tonight. Long line of people all by himself. Love love love what he made. It’s a perfect blend of the taste of Cinnamon Apples, Vanilla Ice Cream, Caramel Drizzle and Bourbon Whipped Cream on top of Belgian Waffles.

Cousteau’s Waffle and Milkshake Bar is one of my all time favorite spots in historic downtown St. Augustine. I have been going to this place for year. We got the Stevesie Milkshake which was the best cookie dough milkshake I have ever had. We had the Unpaid Intern waffle and it was really good. Their waffles are always so fresh and have a good density and obviously wonderful taste. Oh and their whipped cream on everything is definitely made in house which just brings all their desserts to another level.

Absolutely 😍 Cousteau's. Hand-spun milkshakes. The Deep Search is a chocolate milkshake with homemade brownie crumbles and chocolate sauce. They call it the chocolate triple threat. The Plimpton is a Belgian Waffle topped with fresh blueberry compote, whipped cream, and local honey. The Jacques Cousteau photos and decor are really interesting. Highly recommend Cousteau's Waffle and Milkshake Bar.

I went here for a late breakfast on a Sunday and I had a wondeful experience. The employees were very nice and laid back. The food came out pretty fast and it was fairly inexpensive. I personally had the base waffle, but all of the options looked really, really good. The waffle itself was so good and filling so while it doesn't look like the largest amount it definitely filled me up. As for seqting they have options indoors and a nice shady garden outdoors just next to the entrance. Overall I had a great experience and I will definitely be back.

Loved the experience! It is an fun place to pop into while walking around downtown St Augustine. Parking was the biggest challenge but not too bad all in all once we googled city parking lots. Next time we go we will try the waffles, this time we ordered milkshakes. The milkshakes were delicious and a fun treat but were very very sweet for our tastes so we could only finish half to 3 quarters before being done. We do hope to go back again soon to try the yummy looking waffles!
