Sonic Drive-in

My wife was picking up some food after her long work shift for her and I. After 40 mins waiting in a drive through, which mind you only 4 cars long of a line, as she drove away, she realized the bag wasn't hot. So she opened up to see what was in there. She had ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a large fry and coke for her and a jumbo popcorn chicken and a large tot for me. In the bag was a burger with a small fry, a small popcorn chicken and no tots, after that long waiting and being told they are closed and there is nothing they can do she asked for a manager, who preceded to act like it was no big deal and was completely rude, no apology, even for the long wait, twice. She then was given the food you will see in the photos below. (Notice the containers are half empty and bacon cheeseburger had no bacon or cheese) I used to love sonic as a kid, when we didn't have one here and I rarely got to enjoy it. But the one here has been nothing but an utter disappointment since they opened. Maybe this review will help others choose something better.

The last 3 times I've gone here the people working I felt sorry for because they had to deal with all the people and attitudes because they was out of so much stuff. But the food quality has gotten really bad. I used to love going here and getting a burger, or tater tots, soft pretzel, or cheese sticks. But I stopped going because the food tastes nasty anymore, by the time the food gets to you it's cold, and idk just tastes nasty.

Hotdog was lukewarm but cheddar peppers were good. There were only TWO people working on a Friday night. The wait was bad but the worker at the window had to make the food and handle customers. Absolutely outrageous. Maybe they pay bad (my assumption) but that's no excuse to overload your employees. Both Sonic corporate and the franchise owner should be embarrassed. This review is not a reflection of the staff. All two of them were very nice and apologetic.... not their fault.

I don't think I've ever rated a 1-star on any business until now. I visited Sonic this past weekend. From the woman berating two guys who were sitting at the tables on their cellphones to get back inside to work.. to one of those guys taking my order and yelling at me over the microphone (I knew he wasn't angry at me but still, I didn't need to take the brunt of that situation). To whomever was flipping out in the kitchen.. I heard everything.. the mic wasn't turned off. Needless to say, I was quite shocked at the behavior of the staff. As far as food. The fries were lukewarm. However, the positive part of my experience?? My double cheeseburger was actually delicious. But it wasn't enough to get out of a One star review. Sorry 😔

Placed mobile order for burgers and ice cream, got home no ice cream, called store assured I would receive a refund....24 days later many calls to the store and customer service no refund. Never going back to this Sonic ever I would give the zero stars for customer service and more. Called store, managers are extremely rude and say they don't know how they can help me..well it may take a little WORK but I'm sure you could help me get a refund??? Jasmine the manger likes to hang up on people and laugh at you while doing it ! Way to go with that customer service jasmine ! Haha your response means nothing ! I tried to obtain the owner Information everyday for 15 days and customer service and the store was called everyday for 15 days and no one did a thing … your responses are auto generated … maybe you should have the owner check out his store and employees

Horrible service through the drive-thru, It took 30 minutes to get five milkshakes. When they handed us the milkshakes they were all melted and when we asked them to remake them they shut the window with an attitude. The cookie dough milkshake was vanilla ice cream with very few cookie dough pieces in it. (See picture) WORST Sonic we have ever been to! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE ONE IN ST AUGUSTINE!

If i could zero stars i would. We have come here several times around 10:30 or 11pm and they say they are closed when the website says 12am. They are always out of something we try to order and usually have an attitude about it. I've read several other reviews and even months back, these reviews are saying the same thing I've experienced recently. It's super disappointing, I've always loved sonic, but I will not be returning to this location ever.
