Anthony's Restaurant

Overall a poor experience. On a night that wasn't very busy, we were sat near a rather loud party at a table that was dirty. The menu was very limited, and the specials didn't really add anything; veal and basic seafood was abut all that was offered. Staff was kind and helpful albeit not very attentive to us or keeping the area around us clean. Our check was over $100 for food that really wasn't worth it. We've had some good experiences in the past, but this time was so poor that we won't be returning.

We all know, losing a loved one brings much sadness and unwanted stress, especially "funeral" preparation for your loved one. "Anthony's" at Springfield never let that happen! Never had to ask a question, other than the number of floral center pieces were needed. The young lady I spoke to, put me on hold and had the answer in literally five (5) minutes. The entire staff from Joan on down made our "dads" memorial luncheon, the most beautiful send off. Thank you, Marco, Joan, Mike, Colleen, and staff. Sincerely, The Tarzwell family. Fabulous food!

Came for Mother's day. This was the first time at this location. Service was subpar, main entree came but no sides. Finally sides came but for some of us It was cold. Service was just ok. It felt like we were not important maybe becasue we were not regulars. Others seem to get better service and a warm welcome. As for the food, again ok. For some in the party ok for others it was hot and tasty. For an Italian eatery I had better including corporate chain places. I can skip this place, there are too many other options that makes me feel welcomed and a valuable customer.

Love the old world style of this restaurant. They have a very attentive staff. They even come around with the parmesan cheese which is a rare thing these days. they also have wine by the carafe which is a nice thing when you want more than a glass but less than a bottle. I was there with six people and everybody really enjoyed their entrees. The steaks are cooked perfectly.I had the linguine and clams and sauce was so delicious and it was a huge portion I ended up having lunch the next day. The clientele definitely skew towards the older crowd, but it's a great spot for a family celebration. Their deserts are equally delicious
