My Favorite Place to Eat. +++. I've been going there for many years, & love the food. On Fridays their CLAM CHOWDER is Superb, it is thick & has Clams, not like the watered versions at many other places. OH' don't forget their other soups a different one on each day most of the time, (Beef Barley one of my favorites). If you think the Pancakes are to big, just ask them to make it smaller than the plate. Here I go again, their Chicken Fried Steak is enough for TWO. (Share it), My Dad & I did this many times.
A place U can take the grandkids & they can split a pancake. Just like getting a free breakfast for one.

I LOVE IT. I think this place is an amazing place to go to eat out if you wanted to spend sometime with your faimaly. I is amazing and i love the food and the waitress i have been going here my whole life and i am never going to stop
Resturant is remodeled. Steves breakfast and more has changed in so many ways, except the price of the food, the amount that you get, and the flavor is still excellent. i was impressed with the new remodel that is happening at this very moment new tile, paint, copper hood, big top tables for big groups, and a new cook. yet steve and betty are still there serving and cooking like it was their home and we are breakfast guests. i am hooked on the food, service, and price in these hard economic times it is nice to go out and be able to afford a good breakfast with my family
Typical Springfield logger/millworker restaurant. Lots of food. Lots of flavor. A little run down, but so is Steve. Good place to come if you are looking for breakfast like your grandma use to cook while sitting in her 40 year old kitchen. I'll be coming back.
Good Food & Lots of It. Solid breakfast fare. Down home friendly service where they waitress is likely to call you "hon" and the food arrives shortly after you order it. Lovewatching them work the grill. Go hungry.
Quaint little place, kind of old and decorated with random tables and such. The food is good, service was fast, and the price was cheap. Coffee wakes you up and that's about it. The portions were generous.
OMG!!!! So good, you gotta eat here. It's appearance will fool you. The best breakfast at the best price. My family and I really love it!

Steve's is out go too for breakfast. 1st time there and we are so happy with the service and the food. Incredible spinach omelet. And the hashbrowns were exactly how I ordered. C u all soon

We love this place. Every time we go out to breakfast this is our spot. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious and well priced.
The breakfast special was so huge I was able to take home enough for another meal later. The new York steak was a bit chewy, but had great flavor, plus the Dutch apple French toast was a delight. Enjoy the bottomless coffee with your meal!
You can feed a whole army with just 2 or 3 meals it's a super good deal. Theres not a lot of seating, especially with covid guidelines, so I'd suggest ordering for take out. I'm a big fan of the super biscuts and gravy.
