First time there and I'm mad at myself for not going sooner. This place is a set up for a no joke foodgasm. The space is so cute, the family who runs it is so nice and the food....well, damn, I had fish tacos in Cozumel which were not as good as what I got here. Do yourself a favor...don't eat for a day, go here and order every taco on the menu (don't miss lengua and al pastor...I can't even explain how good those are). Oh and the tamales...amazing.
Then top it off with some bavarian cream filled churros (O...M...G). This place is BYOB, incidentally, wine lovers I would suggest you bring a bottle of Torrontes (an Argentian white wine like a vinho verde with a little gewurtztraminer mixed in, kind of awesome with grilled and spicy anything). I'm pretty sure the owners will let you keep it in the bev fridge along with the mango and pomegranate soda which would probably make a really tasty wine coolerish beverage mixed wuth the Torrontes (or a Riesling)
By the way everything in this place is hand made...you will never eat at another Mexican restaurant in the 413 again. There are a lot of items on this menu left for me to try and you better believe I am going to hit them all...Viva Moctezuma!

I have never had such amazing Mexican food! I could not stop eating it! The food was absolutely incredible and I WILL be back! I got the Chorizo burrito and when it came out and my jaw dropped! It’s HUGE! I ate almost half and was so stuffed! I also got a side of rice and beans- rookie mistake (cause the burrito was huge) The few bites I had were delicious but I was too stuffed to finish! The churros are the best I’ve ever eaten! This place is just SO delicious I can’t say enough great things about it! I would highly highly recommend it!
This was our first trip to Moctezumas and boy were the reviews correct this place is has some of the best Mexican food we have had in a very long time. Everything was packed with flavor, and you can taste the home style cooking and love they have. I could write a long review on all the amazingly authentic flavors but all I want is another churro with creme..../drool.
Ordered dessert but ate too much I had to take it home! Took my mom here and she loved it! Very happy, very good food
Wow with this place just wow. This has to be the best from scratch Mexican restaurant in Springfield. High quality food at a good price, let’s just say you get more than what you pay for. Staff is excellent only negative thing is small area for dining but it’s worth to wait outside in the rain for your turn to eat.
Trust me when I say, I know what Mexican food is. The service was good, the rice and beans were “okay” but the fajita tacos were... BOMB!! Best. Tacos. Ever!! The quality of the meat is what got me. For only being a few bucks each and you got that high of quality I will continue going here forever. Highly highly recommend!!

Great staff, awesome prices and delicious food made fresh to order! I honestly love this place. The traditional pollo tacos are my favorite. The chicken is seasoned to perfection and the apple empanadas are a special sweet treat to end your meal!

Literally one of the BEST Mexican restaurants I have ever been to! It's off the beaten path, very authentic. I ordered online and was worried because I ordered after 7:30 and they close @ 8:00. I thought we might get the bottom of the barrel. However I was pleasantly surprised when I got my food, it was hot and ALL the ingredients were fresh! It was as if they had just literally chopped everything up when I ordered. DELICIOUS food, a must try, staff was happy and so sweet!! This is my new go to for Mexican!
