They have a new bar manager who has made some exciting changes and who really knows craft beer, so the experience is much better than it had been. Also, it's a historic spot (oldest continuously operating pool hall), and it has the same owners as Theodores downstairs, which is an awesome live music spot.
Great time. Nice pool tables and a great beer selection!
when the tables are open i love this spot. but i showed up not knowing you can't play pool so i stayed for a burger and beer. the beer selection is pretty exstensive and collective brewery is one of my favorite producers of sour beer. the burger i almost waited 30 minutes for even though no one was around but the server was pretty nice and i was bored anyways so i didn't mind. everything was great. can't wait to play pool though.
Great atmosphere and good tables! Went for a couple hours and had a blast! Would deff recommend if your looking for a nice night to play some pool and have some brews
I love this place as it has more of a Bar & Grill feel instead of a pool hall. Yes, there are many pool (Billiard) tables and a couple of Table Shuffleboard games, but also a bar and a lot of tables, which you can move around depending on the size of your group.
The rotating beer taps are awesome, every night I have come here I have had many options to choose from, especially local brewers. The food menu, while limited, is excellent, all the food comes up from Theodore's, which has incredible food, I just wish they had more choices on the menu! I have had the Smoked Wings every time I have been there- they are excellent! Nachos are good as well.
The staff are helpful, attentive and friendly, service is quick, food is hot and beer is cold!
If I lived here, I would be at Smith's several times a week, but I will just have to make more visits to Springfield!
