Just went last night and the staff was excellent in every aspect especially speed. You pay for what you get and even a little more. Fresh ingredients, hot out the oven bread, delicious tea and to die for dessert. It's a comfortable atmosphere even never being to a turkish restaurant. If you're picky and unsure if you will enjoy sarays Try it anyway!
Been there over 15 times since they opened and every meal has been spectacular. The food is not very complicated, mostly grilled meats and Eastern Mediterranean appetizers. Top quality ingredients; excellent preparation (best grilled meats in the area) and great service. The owner is also very friendly.
Saray II was definitely a great choice to indulge with delicious Turkish kebobs, lentil soup, shepherds salad, and desert.
The atmosphere was pleasant with comfortable seating and it was great to know that there strong Turkish tea had endless refills.
I highly recommend this place for family dinners or special occasions.
Really delicious. We ordered the mixed grill and chicken adana for takeout. The meats were so good and tasty. The plates came with white rice, bulgur rice, some kind of thin flatbread, hot pepper and grilled tomatoes.
They also gave a bag full of bread. This bread..ohmagawd!! Delightful. At first we were wondering what we are going to do with all this bread but we actually ended up finishing the whole bag throughout the day.
One note of disappointment - the mixed plate was supposed to have lamb chops per the menu in both their website and doordash but instead it came with kofta kebabs. Initially we were upset but the rest of the food was so good we got over it. Still, I wish that would have been communicated to us to help manage expectations.
Prices are slightly steeper than I would have liked but the quality was definitely there so can't complain too much. Overall, good foods and would highly recommend eating there to get the full taste of the meats.
Let me start by saying that their food is Amazing !! Super delicious and on point every time we have been there. The staff is super friendly and always serve with a smile. The only reason I gave them one star less is due to service being very slow at times. We have been there three times and twice the service was unbearably slow. Please hire more people so we can continue to enjoy this place even more
don't know where to start. the bar was set pretty high for my first time here (and going out to eat for turkish), and everything was just phenomenal (excluding the rice because really who goes to eat plates like this looking for dope rice) the pepper/ walnut dip had well rounded flavors and was perfectly seasoned and spiced, while the strained yogurt was just a great balance between sour tang and creamy richness with great seasoning as well. as a bread addict i cannot stress enough how dope the fresh bread it light and crispy. as for the mixed grilled meat plate i loved it. the minced lamb had a great spiciness to it without taking away from all the delicious spices and herbs put in there, as for the meat cubes it wasn't just perfectly seasoned too but it was super tender. cannot wait to return with a group so i can try more
Amazing...from the moment we walked in we were made to feel like family and welcomed.
Service was outstanding and the food is utterly amazing. They you for a great night and even greater meal
Celebrated my Aunt's birthday there last night, about 40 of us. They are very accommodating and the food was so delicious. hummus, babaganoush, fatoush salad, and lamb, chicken and pilaf. What great service and we all enjoyed it so much. Can't wait to go back. We were inside and very comfortable but their outdoor dining space is huge and very comfortable looking too.
