Papo's Cafe

The customer service is stellar, but the food is horrible. It’s worse than any other restaurant or coffee shop we’ve ever been to before. We travel a lot and have tried a lot of places. Absolutely horrible food. Hard, stale doughnuts. You can’t even squeeze them, they’re like a large chunk of cardboard. Chunky lumps of something in a caramel latte. Coffee cake was stale and tasted sour. Meat wrap was so-so but had an awful smell. The Cali sandwich was decent until my daughter bit into what tasted like raw meat. It’s really sad and this sucks. Although the drive through employees are about the best and sweetest we’ve ever been served by. I’d like to hire them they’re so great. They really need to take a serious look at their food quality. Two adults and three kids, paid about $80 for trash, and we just about don’t want to ever eat out again because of this place’s food. So much potential but sad, sad, sad experience with the food.

Delicious bold coffee and healthy food at reasonable prices! Pretty much the best caramel latte I’ve ever had - Starbucks or Dunkin don’t come anywhere close to this coffee! All of the sandwiches are great, and taste unique because they often come on an everything bagel instead of bread. Definitely stop by this place when around Springfield!

The atmosphere, the coffee, and the food are all SO GOOD! Very modern feel. Love the additional den/lounge area they have with lounge chairs and a fireplace. I had the frappe with mint flavor and the chipotle Turkey wrap. Drove from Champaign as Champaign county is currently closed for dine in, and this was definitely worth the drive! Definitely will be a new favorite spot!
