We have been going to Parkway several years, usually after Dr. appointments in Springfield. Breakfast all day! Specials every day. Whatever we have had has always been good and hot. Clams are wonderful. My grandson loves the chicken! Home cooked meals, comfort food, that most restaurants don't have. Very pleased with everything. Waitresses and staff are excellent, friendly and come forth like they have known you forever! All around excellent place to eat!
Our 1st time eating here yesterday. I will definitely be back. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this cafe!
Very friendly service and good (not great) food. Pretty good coffee and the food comes out pretty fast. I think it is a little pricey for what you get, but not real high. I like it and have been twice. Good enough that I will return!
A nice variety of choices but a little on the scant side. What they offer, they make in house. Breakfast all the time is a big hit
Our fries could have been cooked more. The home made chips were a big hit.
Build your own salad was an interesting concept: order the bowl of lettuce and pay a little for each ingredient you want added.
Parkway is one of the best for a weekend breakfast. It checks all my boxes - clean, inviting, ample menu choices, and a hook in the ladies room for my purse! It’s got that casual diner style with plenty of local touches. Love the Lincoln Site photos and horseshoe menu option. So happy this staple location reopened for our dining pleasure 🤗
My daughter and I traveled to Springfield to pick up a couple of rescued shelter dogs. We were meeting the people in Springfield to get the dogs. We stopped at parkway Cafe and the food was very good. We both ordered breakfast. The scrambled eggs with cheese nice portion, bacon four five strips, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns. Price was very reasonable, the service was very good, quick friendly! If we have an opportunity to travel to Springfield Illinois again, we will definitely stop in at Parkway Cafe!

Stopped in during a trip down Rt 66. Food was good, service was fast and friendly. I feel like it was fairly priced for the amount and quality. Coffee was excellent.
The Parkway Cafe is open with new management. It was crowded, and the service was slow. It took 20 minutes for my food to arrive at my table; the server was apologetic, which I appreciated. The corned beef hash portion was ample, but it was too salty for my taste.
