While visiting Springfield my boyfriend and I decided to try Gabatoni’s. Absolutely delicious! Our order was correct and the man who gave us our pizza was super friendly. Nice thin crust, good amount of toppings. We nearly finished our 16 inch pizza between the two of us! If we ever come back to Springfield we would go back here! So good!!!

I adore old school pizza places so I thought this would be the one. The boys liked their thin crust pepperoni but my veggie needed lots more salt and spice. Very plain. Also, the pick up window process is not well thought out. You basically wait in line; almost first come first served but that doesn’t take into account my pizza had been ready for 15 minutes already. Not efficient. Staff were friendly.

They now only offer delivery or take out. The line of cars at the take out window is unbelievably slow moving. The amount of time they take to process a payment and hand over a pizza is truly bewildering. If you really want to try this pizza, go get in line, wait ten minutes, and then order your pizza.

Great pizza, good dive. I wish they would open up the restaurant so I could get the full experience. A Springfield classic.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My wife got the pork tenderloin pony shoe and tenderloin was so over cooked, when I throw it at there door it shattered like a plate. My lasagna had raw onions in it. I had it delivered and was so mad, I went there to talk to the manager. Due to Covid they only had the drive throw open and had 10 cars waiting for food. Needless to say they are lucky I didn't get to go inside.

Whyyyy is the crust ALWAYS burnt on the edges?! Turn down the temp a little I normally love the crust! And my garlic bread tasted burnt too like the burned stuff needs cleaned out of the oven.

I liked the food...but the way they where handling the drive thru was ridiculous. We were 3rd in line, but they skipped us and left us to wait on the window behind a car plugging up the drive thru. We spent at least 20 minutes or more waiting for a call ahead order, after waiting an hour to go get it. Next time, have the issue car pull aside, and/ or take orders in the order they arrived....and yes I know covid is going on...

I love Gabatoni's. The food is pretty good, and the atmosphere is unchanged from when I was a kid. It's truly one of the best examples around of an old Springfield family restaurant. It's a great place for a casual night out.
