I don't know why there are so many bad reviews, this has to be the best Chinese buffet I hace been to in this area. The food is hot, the eggdrop soup is absolutely delicious, and the deserts are so yummy!! Our server was so wonderful, very friendly and smiling, which just puts you in a good mood from the get Go. They didn't have my favorite drink at the time of arrival, but was kind enough to offer me one to go when we paid. The server was on top of things, keeping drinks refilled and plates cleared. The price is kind of high, but the seafood choices are crazy plentiful. Kind of makes me wish I liked seafood lol. Would definitely suggest to others.
Went there with family for Mother’s Day. Place was packed and still very clean.... food replenished...... waitress did an awesome job for as many of us as there were plus the others she was taking care of. Large variety of food. If you left hungry it had to be your fault. If there was something you didn’t like or don’t eat like me who is a little picky there was plenty of other stuff to choose from. Will go again and definitely recommend it. And I have two restaurants of my own so I really notice the good and bad in the food industry. I give it a 5 star. Oh and I thought it was very nice of them to give all of f us Mother’s a nice little gift.
Mikado has returned to it's former glory! The largest, most delicious buffet in Springfield. For the price, you cannot beat a dinner at Mikado. The staff is hard working and the food is delicious. They offer fresh cooked hibachi and sushi with lots of chicken, seafood, and fresh fruit and vegetables. I am very happy to see the improvements and small changes. Very happy to have a buffet the whole family enjoys! I recommend the salt and pepper shrimp, coconut shrimp, black pepper chicken, and espresso cake. Those are just some of the amazing dishes you can try.
The restaurant only had one server and at the same time she was the host!!! She was extremely attentive to everyone and very kind.
Not only was there a massive variety but it was delicious as well. We have found the Buffett in town that is the very best!
Our favorite time to visit the buffet is on Saturday evenings and food is always fabulous! We love their crab legs, they always put plenty out of two different crabs. Their frog legs and fish is also awesome! Their sushi is decent with a big variety! Our waitress is always quick to refill drinks and to clear our plates. Thank you guys for providing us with a huge super tasty variety of seafood for a good price!
Got there Wednesday about 1 for a late lunch. Everything was great, fresh, and kept bringing out more. The week lunch prices are hard to beat.
