Mikado has returned to it's former glory! The largest, most delicious buffet in Springfield. For the price, you cannot beat a dinner at Mikado. The staff is hard working and the food is delicious. They offer fresh cooked hibachi and sushi with lots of chicken, seafood, and fresh fruit and vegetables. I am very happy to see the improvements and small changes. Very happy to have a buffet the whole family enjoys! I recommend the salt and pepper shrimp, coconut shrimp, black pepper chicken, and espresso cake. Those are just some of the amazing dishes you can try.

The restaurant only had one server and at the same time she was the host!!! She was extremely attentive to everyone and very kind.
Not only was there a massive variety but it was delicious as well. We have found the Buffett in town that is the very best!

The food all looks really great... It's not. The hibachi is worth eating but that is about it. The chicken on a stick seemed raw and everything else seemed at least a day old. I probably won't be returning but if you're willing to take the risk and to try for fresh food I'd say go for it!

Our favorite time to visit the buffet is on Saturday evenings and food is always fabulous! We love their crab legs, they always put plenty out of two different crabs. Their frog legs and fish is also awesome! Their sushi is decent with a big variety! Our waitress is always quick to refill drinks and to clear our plates. Thank you guys for providing us with a huge super tasty variety of seafood for a good price!

Got there Wednesday about 1 for a late lunch. Everything was great, fresh, and kept bringing out more. The week lunch prices are hard to beat.

Decent, not excellent to say the least. Buffet food was hot. Facilities showing serious lack of maintenance and upkeep. Makes a person wonder what the kitchen equipment is like.

The food here is pretty good but the place is kind of disgusting. chipping paint above your head and just dingy and dirty for a building.
I have actually ate at gas stations that I felt were cleaner than this place.

Ugh. This place is simply gross. It has a musty smell that over powers the buffet tables. Overall condition of dining area in disrepair. And the food was either flavorless or tasted like everything else. There was an occasional tasty item on the buffet. But when you have the amount of selection they had, it's almost like the laws of averages would work to their favor.
