Amazing food and quick service made our return visit enjoyable. Cook and cashier where both friendly in nature and the cook remembered our party from our last visit. Men's restroom was clean and stocked, tables where upkept while in building. I recommend the meat of the day on wheat, for the meat eater. Party recommends both the faloffel and the vegan black bean.

This location has steadily declined in quality and service since opening. The mostly empty parking lot is telling and I expect they will not make it much longer. The staff is generally rude. If you plan on getting philly steak or chicken, you will be picking out inedible gristle and tendons. An ice water (tap) will cost you $1.59, wow! I really used to like this place, but I've made my last visit. 2 stars for having Zapp's chips.

Let me say this...not all pita pits are created equal...if you are in Springfield, Mo and you want fresh ingredients, friendly service, and clean environment...THIS Pita Pit is the one to visit! Try the Chuck Norris.

I've gone here on my way home from work around 10 times over the past few months and have had excellent service every time. Food is very fresh and made as you order it. The peanut butter cookies are the softest/best cookie I've ever had. I can't believe I have never once had a bad experience or just okay food. Every single purchase has been made perfect! Thank you Pita Pit for giving me hope in a restaurant to have consistently above average service!

We brought one of our friends today for her first pita pit experience. However it was NOT a good experience at all for her!😔 the manager who was working grabbed her card out of her hand harshly and handed it back to her with An Attitude. Then when she was making her salad she had to keep asking for more of certain things just to be able to fill up her bowl even halfway because she was so skimpy with giving her any food for what she had paid for... Well this location on Republic Road used to be one of our favorite lunch spots as a group to go to, really bringing quite a bit of business to this location. However the last few times that we’ve been here the service has not been friendly and therefore we’ve gone less and less. Today we were in the mood for pita pit and the customer service was SO RUDE!!! I think they need new management in this location, she was short with all of us and I don’t recommend this location anymore. Although the food is tasty, they don’t give much of a portion and they don’t treat customers like they are welcome.

Food is always good at any pita pit location, however the manager at this location is always rude and short when you ask any sort of question. I got a frustrated sigh when I simply asked if I could add on chips and a drink. It makes you forget about the great food if you're treated poorly for doing nothing wrong.

The food here is fine - it is as expected. The staff, however, is consistently teetering on the edge of being rude. I always feel like they would rather I leave than order anything - which would be normal if I was dealing with a teenager who didn't want to be working, but I am usually waited on by a person who seems to be management and possibly the owner/franchisee.

I frequent the Pita Pit on E. Battlefield and am always very satisfied with the product and the service. Unfortunately my experience ordering food from the location on Republic rd. is much less pleasant. In the past I have spoke with the staff to resolve some of the issues with the product and service and instead of fixing it I get blank stares or in the case of one middle aged blond employee a literal eye roll at my request. Some of the problems I have experienced are: not asking what sort of wrap i prefer on my pita (white or wheat). Cooking the Vegetarian items and meat items right next to each other (vegetarian). Stuffing lettuce in my Pita, and then sighing when I asked for spinach instead. Giving me the wrong pita at the window, and then arguing with me about it when i went back in, Luckily the other customer came in right after me and it got cleared up. Telling me "you are only allowed one sauce per pita" (asked the next time i came in, found out it was not true). Pulling into the drive thru at 7:40 pm and being told that they were already closed. (8pm according to the sign on the door.)
I will continue to frequent Pita Pit, just not this location
