Digiacinto's Italian Restaurant

Really wonderful. Excellent service. I enjoyed myself immensely. No confusion trying to figure out which door to go in, the hostess was not overwhelmed and was able to seat us immediately. Our server was Alex and she was lovely. She made everything right when we were dissatisfied with our appetizer. We had misread the menu. My friend and I were splitting everything so she was more than accommodating and brought us an extra plate and serving spoon. I could've had some dessert but my friend is ready to go and she was sick so I bowed to her wishes. Next time though, I'm definitely trying the desert.

Such a wonderful atmosphere and decor. Very romantic, if that is what you are looking for. Everything was delicious from the house salad, French bread and entrees. I had the evening special and my spouse had a house specialty with sausages and a meatball with the pasta and sauce. Sadly we were way too full for dessert which looked delicious. Excellent food and service.

Great place, full bar makes a pretty good cocktail, waitress let me try a couple different wines when I was trying to decide from a decent wines selection, food was simply amazing...fragrant, fabulous taste & eye-pleasing too. Appropriate to dress up or go casual in a slightly romantic setting. Servers are fantastic & kudos to the chef!

I just ordered the lasagna and it was a generous portion. The meal came with a delicious salad and a loaf of freshly made bread. The entire meal was fantastic and I had to order some coconut cream pie to top off the meal. The pie is also made in the restaurant. Sam DiGiacinto is a great chef. See you again soon!

The best Italian food in Springfield by far! The atmosphere is so cozy; it feels like you’re at home. The food is fresh, the portions are large, and the staff is always really nice. I’ve gone here for my birthday every year since I turned 1 (I’m almost 21 now) and it’s always been my favorite restaurant. In those 20 years, I’ve never tried something I didn’t like!

My favorite thing about this restaurant is the ambience. It’s your classic Italian eatery, with the lattice trellis on the walls and mood music in the background. It’s perfect for a date night. The food was good but not far above average, in my opinion, and I thought it was a bit overpriced. The service was just average, although I’m forgiving because I think they were understaffed the evening I visited, and the staff was doing their best. Overall it’s an experience you won’t find anywhere else in Springfield.
