Oscar's Cafe

It was popping when I came to get our take out order. Patio seemed heated. Ok, the food literally slapped. It was done promptly. Friendly staff greeted me And the burgers were huge. Menu says half-pound burgers. Somehow I bet mine weighed 3#! The fries were home made, fantastic! The sweet potato burrito got rave reviews my wife, but it has a little heat. Overall wonderful experience after spending the day on Angels Landing. Glad that the lady at Holiday Inn recommended Oscar's!

Pork Tamales - crispy corn torts with cream cheese mix inside served over the best smoked pork this side of the Mississippi. Salad with basil dill vinaigrette, rice and beans also great. Carrot cake with unusually good frosting. Eat here. I popped into the other places around but they didn’t grab me - landed here based on star ratings. Great service too- bustling joint!

We had a party of 8. Didn't have to wait to long for a table inside. We were promptly greeted by our waitress Dusty. We had a round of the fresh raspberry lemonade, chips and salsa. Both were excellent. Followed by 7 giant burgers and a pork enchilada. Everyone was very pleased and satisfied with their food.

We learned about this place from our lodge’s reception. We inquired about a nice cafe and were asked to consider this due to their nice vegetarian/vegan options. It was walking distance from our stay. The cafe was very crowded but space is not the issue since they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was good, little slow but acceptable. We ordered veggie enchilada and impossible burger(vegan) which came with fries. The food was good but we didn’t like vegan petty. Their carrot cake is must try, it was too much for both of us so we had to pack it in leftovers. The ambience is really nice and we loved the decor.
