I think this is the best Chinese in the Dayton area! The food is excellent, prices are reasonable (especially for the great quality) and the service is excellent as well.

Such a good choice if you’re looking for good Chinese! We got the orange chicken and sesame chicken. The orange chicken was the best we’ve ever had and we eat A LOT of Asian food. The sides (rice, egg drop soup, wonton soup, egg rolls) were also superb.
The service was great and it had a nice atmosphere. Fancy-ish but not too posh (we weren’t dressed up). The prices are also quite reasonable which we appreciated - around $15-$20 unless you get seafood.
Definitely recommend if you like good Chinese!!

Love the traditional menu at the China Cottage Springboro location. Even though the restaurant interior is beautiful and the service is great, I usually just swing by for take out. Their food is consistently delicious and they've never messed up my order.

I just moved to Dayton and the first place I visited after my first week was China Cottage. I really wanted chicken wings but nothing caught my eye. This place just popped out. The food looked so good and tantilizing🤤🤤. I was like pops on Friday, “yeaaaa boi”. Its right up the road so hopped in Black Thunder (my truck) and cruised to the grubbery. I get there and its plenty of people walking in and out so im like “ ok China Cottage, i see you out here doing big thangs”. At this point i already knew it was a good choice. I go inside and of course it was a nice atmosphere with decor and all that. I was met with a courteous greeting and she directed me to the bar to order because it was to-go. I order and wait not too long, i get my food in a nicely designed bag. I get home and get settled in, pull out the food and boy i tell you what, in my Hank Hill voice, those portions are for the hungry!! I was like 14 bucks well spent!The flavor was at the pinnacle of greatness. A tear was shed from weary, war torn eyes, and an American Eagle perched on my window, also with a tear in its weathered eye. I definitely recommend this place. That is all!

Everything about this place is amazing. Super chill atmosphere. The food is always amazing, and the service is always top-notch. I drive over an hour to eat here and it's always worth the drive.

I took my best friend here for her birthday and was impressed with the variety of food on the menu. I had the Cottage (orange) Chicken; my friend had the Cashew Chicken and we shared crab rangoons. Food was hot when it arrived. The server was attentive with refilling our drinks even though the restaurant was fairly busy. Really reasonable prices considering the amount of food they provide. I would definitely stop by again if I am in town.
