I had to take a moment as my eyes closed involuntarily, my tongue seemed to hijack my whole body with just one bite of the Takoyaki. It was like my taste buds couldn't deny the truth any longer, and was like, "oh wait, umm hold up, we not about to pretend like we didn't just taste joy." The sushi was equally delicious, it was so fresh and delightful. Plus I can't express my excitement enough for the awesome staff. Who doesn't love a cheerful atmosphere? The waitress was incredibly pleasant without being annoying, and the chef was equally friendly. Intially it was giving average spot vibes, but despite its small size, the flavor compensated for its lack of space. They really know what they're doing. I recommend this spot, especially during happy hour, helps save some pennies.
First time going, and it didn't disappoint. Everything from service to food was excellent! I had the regular chicken ramen and takoyaki.
Dinner at this restaurant with my daughters was absolutely awesome! My youngest, who usually enjoys store-bought ramen, was thrilled to try a more delicious version here. Additionally, my older daughter loves sushi, and I personally enjoyed everything on the menu. It's fantastic to have found a spot so close to home that offers such a diverse and delicious menu. Everything we tried was excellent, and it made for a wonderful dining experience overall!
Service: incredibly friendly , been here about 6 times now for togo and dine in and they have always been awesome.
Location: kind of hard to miss as it's behind Taco Bell so I took a pic of the sign so you can spot it
Food: I always get the black garlic and it's amazing. I guess I need to try the sushi someday. Reasonable prices but honestly this feels like a small ramen shop even with the split system AC in the wall and tiny sushi bar look.
Small intimate place. The sushi wad surprisingly good. I had the dragon roll and the Nemo roll. The fish was very fresh and tasted delicious. I've been disappointed with sushi places here in. Cypress, but Toki has jumped to my local favorite. I also like that they have limited rolls with cream cheese and offer a good variety of fish and textures in their rolls. The rolls have a very nice balance between rice and ingredients. I can see why this place had 4.7 stars
This little place was so nice and the food was excellent! I got the 2 rolls special and we shared calamari which was surprisingly delicious and a big serving for the price. Our server was very friendly and our food was served quickly. Didn't even know this place was here, but so glad I tried it!
The best place for eating Japanese food in Spring, the food is delicious and the staff are always very friendly! The only complaint is that the place is small so I can’t come with too many people. :)
I love their sushi and ramen!
Very unassuming sushi joint tucked away in this location. If you want good fresh sushi minus all the frills and fanfare then this place is worth checking out. Decent sake and Asian beer selection as well.
The food was really good and it’s the same as the picture shown on the menu. Service is 10/10. the atmosphere is cozy with a chill vibe.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place!! It is so amazing and I’ve probably eaten here 7 times in the past month. The chili hamachi is to die for and everything is such a good price for quality and quantity. The best items in my opinion is the chili hamachi, the black garlic spicy Tonkotsu ramen, the 3 roll combo with the house salad, and the crazy sushi rolls. The sushi is probably the best in the area in my opinion. Absolutely love this place and couldn’t recommend a better place!!!
Also just something I forgot to add: the staff is also amazing!! We have become quite the regulars and they always greet us with smiles and have started to remember our orders! We even have little conversations with the staff as well and they are so sweet. Definitely a small cozy feel and I am excited to visit again this week!
