Best damn sandwiches I can’t get enough! My husband and I have tried everything on the menu! Soups and salads are the bomb! Make sure to get the house dressing! We have referred several friends and families and everyone loves it! Also, supporting an amazing guy in our community!

Sandwiches are large and tasty Fies were little limp and greasy. Suggest 2 things fountain drinks and a large bright open sign visible from 29. Guys were all very nice overall a good meal.

I had the benefit of having the Reuben sandwich tonight
the pastrami was just the right thickness slightly crispy on the outside like bacon and deliciously moist and sweet inside, it really is delicious meat.
The marbled rye and Kraut were perfectly balanced to make this sandwich a home run.
They already hit it out of the park with their french fries and burgers.
I strongly suggest trying the Ruben Sandwich.

Clean and tastefully decorated environment, VERY friendly staff and the food was simply delicious without breaking the bank. My wife and I will definitely return for dine-in or take-out. Glad they are here!

Different flair than what i thought it was. I was expecting an old fashioned southern food, mom and pop business and it wasnt. Sandwiches, hamburgers, salads. Very weak menu and a little pricey for what you get. It was popular for lunch lots of people. They are trying to be a quality lunch place with a starbucks feel. Small tables, seats were metal. My steak and cheese was okay. Meh

A new, little known treasure in Charlottesville. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, the food is hot, and the portions are ample. Most importantly, the sandwiches are excellent! On my last visit I had a delicious pastrami on marbled rye sandwich, but my goal is to try every sandwich they offer. Give it a try and support a local business, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Ordered the steak and cheese and fries. They were both hot, tasty, and well proportioned. The food was served quickly and the service was fantastic. The atmosphere was both clean and inviting. Well done, 5/5.

This place is delicious and extremely well priced in my opinion. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Cville! I have gotten the turkey bacon swiss with onion rings both times I have gone. The herb mayo they use is on point.

Stopped by Taste Shack to pickup dinner. We shared a steak and cheese and an order of sweet potato fries. Sandwich was a generous portion and more than enough for 2 people to share. Next time, I'll ask that they add lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Plus, I'll double check to ensure that ketchup or some sort of dipping sauce has been included for the fries. Will return to try some more menu items.
