Pappasito's Cantina

The food here is incredible! Our server was attentive, jovial, and made great suggestions. I highly recommend the queso and fajitas. We did queso with ground beef and I could've eaten it all day long! It has a little kick to it, which I like and the steak and chicken fajitas were juicy and delicious. They also serve them with a sinful side of garlic butter, and I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. My friend and I shared both, and it was more than enough food. They also cook the tortillas right there in a machine on the service floor and they are soft, pillowy and absolutely out of this world. Even though we were stuffed, we had to check out the desserts, just in case. They all looked delicious but I highly recommend the ice cream with chocolate and coconut (unless you don't like coconut) it was delicious! Plus, you don't have to get 4 scoops, you can get just one... or get all four! If I had enough room left over, I might have! The only downside to this place is that it's very busy (which shows it's good) but it also gets rather crowded. However, even on a busy lunch rush, we only waited about 10 minutes for a table.

Our server was Chris and may I just say he was super polite and attentive. This was my first time coming here and everything was amazing. We got the Medium mixed fajitas and it was more than enough for two. The meat was so juicy and tender and so savory! 😋 The flour tortillas were out of this world! So soft and fluffy and delicious! To finish off we got the Tres Leches dessert and it was perfect. It was just the right amount of sweetness and had a generous amount of milk. This is my new favorite place! 😍

When we come to Houston we treat ourselves to Pappasito’s. It is absolutely our favorite go to. We decided to go to the location at Airtex. And our experience yesterday was beyond expectations. We never realized our dinner was “late”, until Ethan came and told us and then offered us extras to go with our meal. Try the ice cream desert with toasted coconut, pecans, and chocolate drizzle, by the way this is a desert for two. OH MY GOODNESS!! But what I haven’t talked about until now is an amazing waitress. Her name is “Top”. She has been there two years and is truly wonderful and made the dining experience out of this world. Funny, gracious, and attentive to her guest. Be assured when we go back we are going back to this location. Top, you and Ethan made our drive back to Lake Charles so comfortably full. Thank you Alicia and Suzanne

We arrived at 11am on Saturday. It wasn't overly busy yet and the area we were seated in never filled up. Later, the bar area was very busy and there seemed to be a wait at the hostess station when we left so I recommend an early lunch. The food was outstanding as usual. Chicken and steak were perfectly prepared. Even lunch menu prices are above average so check out the online menu to avoid sticker shock. It's not a bad value, just be prepared. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive and very polite. Overall, a very nice experience. I highly recommend this place for fajitas.

Man, this place is good! The service was amazing. I sat at the Bar and within seconds, Blake walked up, took my drink order and gave me some chips/salsa. I don't even think I was in their section. Then Hannah answered all my questions and provided great service. Also, everyone behind the bar was constantly doing something while not taking care of guests. Cleaning bar tops, wiping down bottles, and restocking glasses. There was no BSing about after shift plans, just an attitude of work (especially Hannah). Very impressive. Then the food came (promptly). I got the steak tacos AL carbon. Steak was cooked perfectly, well seasoned. Churro beans were off the chain! One of the best meals and experiences I've had in a long time!

They greet you at the door and on the way out. Manager walks the floor and stops by each table to make sure that customers are ok. Our server, Oscar was great. He did mention their featured drink and desert item, but he wasn't pushy about it. The atmosphere is nice with music playing at a low volume.

The was our first time dining in. This place is wonderful. The food is outstanding. My only negative was the skull drink. It could of been stronger. I didn’t taste any alcohol. The chips were super fresh and the salsa was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh. The tacos were amazing. I’ve never had tacos so good. Our waitress was very nice and professional. We will be returning.
