Hartz Chicken Buffet

The few times that I have been to this location, the food has always been hot, fresh and on point! On today’s visit, I paid with my bank card and when I was given the total at the window, it didn’t match what was printed on the receipt. Apparently that’s added on to cover the card charge. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Doesn’t change the overall experience but if you’ve never noticed it, you will now lol!! 😜

Let me start off by saying that the staff here is so nice! They greet you when you come in and have everything set with CDC standards. Due to COVID, they have to serve you now which can be annoying to them I'm sure, BUT they are always taking care of what you need and are so nice about it. My family always comes to this Hartz because it's the best one we've been to and will continue to support them. Food is always so good! Check them out!

Hartz Buffet is a great deal. The food is tasty, hot and fresh, with a nice variety of cold salads, hot vegetables, breads, and sweets to go with the great selection of chicken and fish. The facility is simple but nice, and clean. The staff is extremely friendly, and goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and taken care of. Highly recommend.

This is a Mom and Pop owned franchise... While not the best, it is far from the bottom of list of Hartz Chicken in the Houston area.. The food was fresh .. The tarter sauce could have been better, the coleslaw a little finer cut than some others .. However that is my personal preference.. The fish with the cornbread batter was very good and tender.. I noticed this location has a very strong neighborhood family following.. and while it could use a coat of paint and remodeling. All in all it is a solid neighborhood contender.. With a little more polish this location could really shine ..
