What a great treat this French restaurant was! Between the two different steaks and mussels, this was a top-tier recommendation for an out-of-towner. I will be recommending it to Lexington visitors. Well done, Le Deauville

It was an amazing experience, the waiter is very kind and knowledgeable. Though the menu is small, everything we ordered came out delicious and hot which we appreciated. Very nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. I would recommend.

Absolutely delicious!!! The food was perfect and service was great. Do expect to spend a little longer dining here as they follow more of the European tradition of dining - eating each course slowly and each course is spread out. Highly recommend and look forward to going back.

We came in town from Chicago and wanted something different for date night. Id never had escargot, it was probably the most delicious thing I've ever had. We also had the cheese plate, mussels and chorizo, French onion soup, the duck and Chilean sea bass & creme brulee for dessert. Everything was great but the service was very slow. We sat there for about 15 minutes before our drink order was taken, another 25 to get our appetizers. Overall, this was a great place to eat but expect 2-3 hours to dine in on the weekend.

We love Le Deauville primarily for only one person STEPH. She makes the atmosphere 10/10 if Steph isn’t here honestly not even worth walking in. She is one of the best humans to ever have walked the service industry. Please promote her asap. Overall, food is good quality! The chefs have done a great job.

This past Friday, my friends and I went to Le Deauville for dinner (without any reservations). For one of my friends and I, it was our second time at this place, and the reason we came back again was because we had a great time the first time (like we had thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience here). Both of my friends drove from Louisville. By the time they arrived in Lexington, both were hungry. We ordered several cocktail drinks, appetizers, and entrees. The service was slower this time, and the dinner took us almost 3 hours. The restaurant was not entirely busy, but our server was gone for a long time, and we didn't see her for a while. I used to be in the food industry, and I usually understood what was happening behind the scenes in the kitchen or in the restaurant, but it was not okay when we were left unattended for a good time. (Our drinks were long gone, and we wanted to order more drinks that night). One of my friends almost left the table because it took a long time to get our drinks or food, and he was not having it that night. I got my friend to sit still and wait for our food because leaving was still rude. Besides the slow service, the restaurant's ambiance is intimate and has a romantic setting. I recommend this place for dates and for trying delicious French cuisine with robust and delightful cocktail drink options. I guess, from my first experience and this recent one, we will have to return much later to try this place again. I would still recommend this place to people, have extra patience when you come here as a guest :)

Very nice local spot in a wonderfully preserved 20's era building. I loved the traditional Escargot! Hard to find that around here. Met serveral locals who dine there regularly and everyone raves about it. Cannot wait to go back. Staff was great! When in Lexington, be sure to dine here.

Delicious authentic French restaurant. The all you can eat mussels on Tuesday are a delicious value at $22,50. The desserts are delicious with a cooked to order Gâteau au chocolat. Good wine selection and tasty well balanced cocktails. The steak was amazing.

Our evening at Le Deauville was nothing short of exceptional, with outstanding service and delectable cuisine that left an indelible mark on our palates. The service at Le Deauville deserves the highest praise. The staff greeted us warmly and guided us to our table with genuine hospitality. Throughout the evening, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to enhance our dining experience. They effortlessly balanced professionalism with a friendly demeanor, creating an inviting atmosphere that made us feel truly valued. My wife's choice of Moules à la Diable, a classic French dish of mussels cooked in a spicy tomato-based sauce, was a revelation. The mussels were plump, tender, and infused with an exquisite blend of flavors. The sauce had just the right amount of heat, adding a nice kick to every bite. It was a dish that showcased the restaurant's commitment to authentic French flavors executed to perfection. As for my entrée, the New York Strip with fries and Green peppercorn sauce, it was a carnivorous delight. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Each bite revealed a burst of juiciness and a remarkable depth of flavor. The Green peppercorn sauce, with its rich and creamy texture, elevated the dish to new heights, adding a delightful tang that complemented the meat impeccably. To complete our gastronomic journey, we indulged in a delectable dessert—a delicate Crème Brûlée that was perfectly caramelized on top, giving way to a velvety smooth custard beneath. It was a sweet conclusion to an evening of culinary enchantment. Le Deauville's dedication to providing exceptional cuisine, combined with impeccable service, sets it apart as a true gem in Lexington. Whether you're a connoisseur of French cuisine or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, Le Deauville is an absolute must-visit.

Delicious food, but very chaotic environment. Maybe because it was Valentine’s Day. Reservation for 6:30. First bite of food, 7:40.

Wonderful french dinner. Everything was perfect, the food, the service and the atmosphere. The name relates to Lexington’s French sister city, Deauville in Normandy France.

Always top notch and superb service. It took me about four visits here to even make it past the happy hour apps and cocktails, but I have never had anything I didn’t love here. For sure the absolute best happy hour in Lexington. The escargot and beef carpaccio are my constant favorites and I always start with a French 75 and then some champagne. Finally made it to the duck entree (that one time) and it was incredible. And the chocolate mousse to finish off a perfect evening is a crowd pleaser, always. Can’t wait to get back to this place over and over again. Happy hour starts at 5. See ya there!

A fantastic place! We went as a group and they took such good care of us. The owner came back and greated us. The food was unique and so tasteful. Was only in Lexington for 2 nights and one of our dinners was here. Can't wait to go back
